JPS Board To Meet Tuesday

The Jamestown Public Schools Board will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the board room, 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic Set March 26

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health announced that a free rabies vaccination clinic will be held on Thursday, March 26, from 5-7 p.m. at the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown. This clinic is co-sponsored by the Chautauqua County Humane Society and the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Harry Shaw will be the attending veterinarian. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets that are 3 months of age and older. All pets must be on a leash or in a cage or carrier. Pet owners should bring any previous rabies vaccination records for each animal to ensure proper and effective vaccination. Animals without previous vaccination records will receive a one year dose of vaccine.

Ellery Senior Citizens To Meet

BEMUS POINT — The Ellery Senior Citizens will meet at St. Timothy Lutheran Church on Route 474 in Bemus Point on Friday, March 13, at noon. Members should bring a dish to pass and table service. Dues will be collected at the meeting. The kitchen committee will be Betty Lou Cheney and Carolyn Wickerham. Gene Norris will speak about his hobby, Terrific Trains. Special Meeting Set March 23

FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will hold a special meeting Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the Village Community Building, 101 W. Main St., Falconer. The board is scheduled to vote on the annexation of the Dow Street substation property. The public is welcome to attend.
