Lakewood Village Board Meets Today

LAKEWOOD – The Village of Lakewood, Board of Trustees meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. today. The public is welcome to attend.

Randolph Central To Host Blood Drive April 26

RANDOLPH – The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at Randolph Central School, 18 Main St., Randolph. To make an appointment or for more information, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App. visit RedCrossBlood.org. call 1-800-733-2767 or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Ivory Cemetery To Hold Annual Meeting

FREWSBURG — The annual meeting of the Ivory Cemetery, located on Emery Hill Road, Frewsburg, will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Ivory Baptist Church, 633 Ivory Road. Any interested parties are welcome to attend. Light refreshment will be served. Any headstone decorative items that have been left over the winter and have become weathered will be discarded soon after this meeting. Please remove any items you wish to keep before that date.

County To Hold Rabies Clinic Saturday

KENNEDY – The Chautauqua County Health Department will hold a rabies vaccination clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Poland Highway Department building, 533 Grubb Hill Road, Kennedy. Animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. Pre-registration is required and should be submitted at chqgov.com/environmental-health/rabies and view the calendar for upcoming clinics. There are a limited number of spots available, so pet owners should pre-register online as soon as possible. Those who register but can’t attend are asked to cancel their appointment so the spot is available for another pet. Cancel appointments via the confirmation email received when originally registering. Walk-ins may be accepted toward the end of the clinic, but are not guaranteed.
