Free Webinar Scheduled For Friday

Cornell Cooperative Extension will host a free webinar from noon to 1 p.m. Friday focused on PaddockTrac technology. Participants will learn how PaddockTrac, developed by Dr. Stacey Hamilton and Ryan Lock at the University of Missouri, could allow data-driven pasture management to boost productivity and end guesswork in grazing strategy. A sensor mounted on an ATV measures forage height, growth rates and pasture cover. A Bluetooth-enabled sensor connects to a smartphone app for real-time data analysis, ranks paddocks and provides actionable insights to make proactive decisions.  This webinar is free and open to anyone interested in grazing. Participants will receive the Zoom webinar URL after their registration is confirmed. To register visit https://tinyurl.com/ccepaddocktrack. For more information, call Camila Lage at 607-422-6788 or cd546@cornell.edu.
