Book Display Scheduled For June 12 At Prendergast Library

A collection of books “If I were a Porcupine” and “If I were a Skunk” by author Rebekah Sorenson, will be on display at Prendergast Library on June 12 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to browse featured titles, learn more about the authors, and explore a variety of works available during the special afternoon display event.

Allen Park Bandshell Concerts Start June 10

The first concert of the season for the Allen Park Bandshell will be June 10 at 7 p.m. featuring the Jamestown Junior/Senior Bands. The Allen Park Women’s Club will have the concession stand featuring hot dogs, popcorn, penny candies and the club’s homemade fudge. The newly installed steps that lead to the bandshell are also open.
