Chicken BBQ Is Sunday

The ILS Veterans Club on Fluvanna Avenue next to Arby’s will host a chicken barbecue beginning at noon Sunday until sold out. The cost is $12 for a full dinner and $8 for chicken only. Meals include a half chicken, applesauce, roll and choice of roasted potatoes, mac salad or baked beans.

Mayville To Hold Special Meeting Today

MAYVILLE — The Mayville Village Board will hold a special board meeting today, July 14, at 4 p.m. at the Carlson Community Center, 50 W. Lake Road Mayville. The board will be discussing grant funding for various projects.

Blood Drive To Be Held At

Hospital

Community Blood Bank is holding a blood drive from noon-5 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at UPMC Chautauqua, 207 Foote Ave., Jamestown. To schedule an appointment, call 814-456-4206. Appointments are encouraged to reduce wait time but are not required. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows.

Library To Host Musical Jam

Sessions

The Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., invites the public to participate in musical jam sessions led by Bill Frost on Thursday, July 21, from 3-5 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 18, from 3-5 p.m. The program is free and open to all ages. County IDA Meets July 26

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the BWB building, second floor board room, 201 W. Third St., Jamestown, and the Fredonia Technology Incubator, second floor conference room, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Both locations will be open to the public. The meeting will also be streamed live on YouTube and Zoom.

Dan Schall In Concert Aug. 20

Dan Schall will be in concert at the Lander United Methodist Church, 5582 Route 957, Russell, on Aug. 20, at 7 p.m. Bring lawn chairs as the concert will be outside, weather permitting.

Band To Perform At Davis Park

FALCONER — Ralph Rasmusson and the Dixie Band will be performing from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at Davis Park in Falconer. If it rains, the concert will be moved to the Falconer Fire Hall at 115 Davis St. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. Kiwanis Club of Falconer will be selling refreshments.
