Shopping Event Set For Dec. 4

Would you like to get a lot of your holiday shopping done in one place while at the same time helping to make the holidays brighter for underprivileged children in the area? Then plan to attend the Holiday Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday, December 4, to benefit the local Marine Toys for Tots drive.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church, 3363 Fluvanna Avenue in Jamestown.

Local crafters and vendors will be featured. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase, and a Chinese auction will be held.

Proceeds from the Holiday Shopping Extravaganza will benefit Toys for Tots. Thanks to the generosity of area residents and local businesses, the Toys for Tots drive each year is able to make the holidays merrier for thousands of Chautauqua County children. Last year, 4,365 children received gifts through the toy drive.

Vendor spaces are still available. For more information about the Holiday Shopping Extravaganza, contact organizer Evelyn Wright-Kegelmyer at 716-720-1393 or evelyn.kegelmyer@resourcecenter.org.
