Spring Meat Party Postponed

FREWSBURG — The American Legion and Sons of the American Legion have postponed the Spring Meat Party and gun drawing that had been scheduled for Saturday. The event will be held at a later date.

Takeout Service Continues At Marvin House

The Marvin House is continuing its takeout service Thursday with rosemary pork roast, oven roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, mixed salad and Hello Dolly bars. On April 9 will be sweet and sour meatloaf, Brussels sprout salad, cheesy potatoes, seasonal vegetables and lemon bars. The cost for each meal is $17 for Marvin House members and $20 for non-members. Dinners will be pre-packaged and ready for pick up between 3-4 p.m. each Thursday by driving into Mechanic Alley beside the Marvin House and meals will be put into the trunk. Quantities are limited and can be reserved by calling 484-6206.

Sewer Board To Meet Friday

The administrative board of the South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts will meet Friday at 9:30 a.m. For instructions on how to join the teleconference, call 664-9727.

School Board To Meet Monday

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday at 6:30 p.m. The public will be able to view this meeting live by going to frewsburgcsd.org and following the instructions on the home page. Public participation questions and comments regarding the agenda can be emailed to Laura Smith, district clerk, at lsmith@frewsburgcsd.org. Submit comments and questions no later than 3 p.m. on Monday. The agenda can also be viewed by visiting the district website.

Outdoor Club Cancels Meeting

The Allegheny Outdoor Club planning meeting for Friday has been canceled. The group will reschedule the meeting to a later date to plan for April, May and June.

Cemetery Winter Decorations Must Be Removed

FALCONER — All winter decorations must be removed from grave sites at Pine Hill Cemetery in Falconer by Monday, April 15. Any remaining items will be discarded.
