CASA To Hold Fundraiser Event

MAYVILLE — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Chautauqua County will hold its 12th annual Come to the Table fundraiser Thursday, May 7, at 5 p.m. at the Chautauqua Suites in Mayville. The event will help to support abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes and will include live table auction starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available presale or at the door. Lenten Fish Fry Dinners Available

Lenten fish fry dinners will be available beginning Friday from 4:30-7 p.m. at the St. John Church hall, 270 Newton Ave., Jamestown. Dinners will be available every Friday during Lent. The dinners cost $12 for adults and $10 for children and include the choice of battered or broiled fish; six shrimp; or fish with three shrimp combo. Vegetable lasagna will also be available for $10. Blingo Purse Bingo Set Feb. 26

The Resource Center, 200 Dunham Ave., Jamestown, will host its fourth annual Blingo purse Bingo on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Doors for the event open at 6 p.m., with games beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $20 and includes 12 bingo games with handbags as prizes. Proceeds from the event will benefit Filling the Gap Inc.’s Mark Pacheco WOW (Working on Wonders) Fund, which makes dreams come true for people with disabilities. Ellery Senior Citizens To Meet

Giveaway To Begin March 28

LANDER — The inaugural Lander Volunteer Fire Department Spring Sportsman’s Giveaway will be held starting at 4 p.m. March 28 at the former Chase Auction House, 5555 Route 957, Russell. The giveaway starts at 5 p.m. Entry is a $20 donation. Food and beverages are provided.
