Is Released

The Jamestown YMCA has released an updated pool schedule for summer with extended lap swim times as well as adding open swim times to help members beat the heat. The Y’s Upper pool is open for lap swimming from 6 to 8:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday; 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday and 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Y’s lower pool will be open for recreational swimming from 9:15 to 10:25 a.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday; 1 to 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday; 1 to 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday; 9:15 to 10:25 a.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday; 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Craft Time Back In September

KENNEDY — Community Craft Time at the Kennedy First United Methodist Church will not be held in July and August. It will resume in September with its regular schedule of the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.

CVCS Board Meets Monday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The annual organizational meeting and the regular monthly meeting of the Cassadaga Valley Central School Board of Education will be held Monday, July 9, at 7 p.m. in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room. The public is welcome to attend.

North Harmony Offices To Close

STOW — The North Harmony town offices will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for the Fourth of July holiday. Offices will reopen on Friday.

Sewer Board Meets Tuesday

CELORON — The South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts admnistrative board will meet at noon Tuesday, July 10, in the Water Pollution Control Facility in Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.

Vikings To Honor

Area Scholars

On Thursday, July 12, the Jamestown Viking Lodge will hold its annual recognition of Viking scholarship winners and honor members who have been Vikings for 25 and 50 years. All Viking members are urged to attend the event, held the Viking Lake Park facility. Those being honored are to come at 6:30 p.m. for the program, which will begin at 7 p.m.

Farmers Market Set In S. Dayton

SOUTH DAYTON — The Mobile Farmers Market is held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the South Dayton Village Square featuring organically grown vegetables, fresh homemade breads, pies, sweet rolls, jellies, jams and fresh eggs. Gazebo Concerts Begin Saturday

BUSTI — The Busti Gazebo Concert Series begins Saturday with Slim Griffin and the Country Gentlemen from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those attending should bring lawn chairs for seating. The series is sponsored by the Busti Hamlet Development Association and the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
