Seniors To

Meet Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Senior Citizens will meet Tuesday at noon in the Sinclairville Firehall dining room for a luncheon and program. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to add to the meal, and their own table service. Table decorations will be provided. New members are always welcome.

Craft Time Set For Wednesday

KENNEDY — Community Craft Time at Kennedy First United Methodist Church will not be held Wednesday. The next craft time will be held Wednesday, June 27.

‘Citizens’ To

Meet Thursday

“Citizens for a Better Cassadaga” will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library. Upcoming events will be discussed at the meeting. All area residents are invited to attend.

Panama Board Meeting Changed

PANAMA — The monthly Panama Village Board meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday at 7 p.m. due to scheduling conflicts. The public is welcome to attend.

Driving Course

Is Wednesday

EAST RANDOLPH — The East Randolph United Methodist Church will be hosting an AARP six-hour Smart Driver Class on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the church fellowship hall located at 122 Church St. in East Randolph. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members payable by check or money order. This is the first course designed specifically for drivers over age 50, however drivers of all ages will benefit by attending. Participants may be eligible to receive a discount on auto insurance premiums and a reduction of up to four points on their driving record. To Paint ‘N’ Sip

A sip and paint event hosted by the United Senior Council will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army in Jamestown. For reservations, call Connie at 763-0554. The cost is $25 and includes supplies and refreshments.

Support Group Meets Wednesday

The Breast Cancer Support Group of Jamestown will meet Wednesday at Alfie’s Restaurant, Fairmount Avenue, West Ellicott. The group will eat dinner at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. featuring speaker Mary Catherine Damiano, dietitian. Besides healthy foods, she will be speaking on side effects of some cancer and sugar diabetes drugs. Guests and new cancer patients are welcome. For more information, call Pat Carr 665-4343.

Farmers Market Begins Thursday

LAKEWOOD — The village of Lakewood will form a new farmers and artisans market this year, held from 2-6 p.m. Thursdays from June 14 through Aug. 30.
