Food Distribution Set For Tuesday

ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, proof of address showing the recipient lives in one of the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Randolph Board To Meet Tuesday

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. in the district office. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the Capital Outlay Project SEQRA Resolution. The public is welcome to attend.

Meet Tuesday

A meeting for parents utilizing The Resource Center in Jamestown will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the James Prendergast Library by Dr. Scott Noren, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon from Ithaca. Autism and special needs initiatives including resources for autistic children transitioning to adulthood, traveling with autistic children in airports and other public transportation and today’s newer options and dental services for autistic children and adults will be discussed. Movie Night To Be Held June 28

BEMUS POINT — Christ Church, 3012 Route 430, Bemus Point, will host its first family-friendly movie night at 7 p.m. Thursday, featuring the film “Miracles From Heaven” starring Jennifer Garner. There will be free hot dogs, popcorn and beverages. Other dates throughout the summer are July 12, July 26, Aug. 9-23, all beginning at 7 p.m. For more information, call 450-7003.

Medicare Class Set For June 30

The Chautauqua County Office for the Aging is hosting “The A, B, C & D’s of Medicare” on Saturday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at the Dunkirk Senior Center, 45 Cliffstar Ct., in Dunkirk. The workshop is for individuals who are new to Medicare, and caregivers who are assisting loved ones who will soon receive Medicare. The workshop will be presented by Christine Cheronis. This presentation will offer information for those who are soon to be 65 years old and eligible for Medicare as well as for those who are currently on a disability and will be enrolled into Medicare automatically after 24 months. This workshop is free to the public.
