CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — MAYVILLE — At 3:41 a.m. Saturday, members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to an address for a report of a past tense physical altercation. After an investigation it was determined that Kevin T Appelbe, 41, of Mayville, did intentionally cause physical injury to another person. During the altercation Appelbe did cause another person to be in fear of their life and did restrict their movements. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Angel G. Ramos-Gonzalez, 26, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with two counts of aggravated criminal contempt, unlawful imprisonment, third-degree assault, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, at about 8:02 a.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute at an Eastside residence. Upon arrival, officers were advised that Ramos-Gonzalez was inside the residence violating an order of protection. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Timothy W. Ellis, 58, of Jamestown was charged March 18 with third-degree burglary, and petit larceny. According to police, at about 11:12 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Allen Street and Foote Avenue for a report of a man that matched the description of a suspect from a burglary complaint that occurred at a Southside business. Police said the man had fled the scene prior to officers arriving, but as officers were on scene speaking with the owner of the business, the man re-appeared. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Vanessa R. Stevens, 35, of Jamestown was charged March 18 with second-degree criminal contempt. According to police, at about 7:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a Northside residence to assist New York State Parole. While at the residence, officers observed Stevens allegedly violating an order of protection. Stevens was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. City Woman Charged With Grand Larceny

A Jamestown woman has been charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Kathryn S. Fisher, 47, of Jamestown was charged by Lakewood-Busti police at 7:17 p.m. Sunday after allegedly taking $1,071 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Walmart store. She was released with an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court later.
