JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Jonathan M. Camacho, 18, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:59 a.m., police responded to a Hall Street address for a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located a female who showed signs of an altercation. When police checked out the apartment, they noticed the bathroom lights were on and the door was locked. Police ordered the person inside to exit, but were ignored for several minutes. Camacho later exited and allegedly failed to comply with police commands. A small quantity of marijuana was allegedly found in his possession. It was also determined Camacho had two unrelated warrants out of the Lakewood-Busti Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Amber N. Arnold, 38, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with fugitive from justice and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 9:56 a.m., police responded to the area of 46 Baker St. for a complaint of a man and woman arguing. Officers made contact with Arnold in a driveway of 47 1/2 Baker St. The reported domestic incident appeared to involve Arnold and a man who left the scene prior to police arrival. Police learned that Arnold allegedly had a warrant out of Pinellas County, Florida for a felony charge. While being taken into custody, Arnold was allegedly found to have a small amount of cocaine. She was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Brett A. Dehner, 21, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with criminal obstruction of breathing. At 1:30 a.m., police were flagged down on West Second Street for a domestic incident. After speaking with witnesses, police determined that Dehner allegedly choked a female before leaving the scene. He was located near the scene and taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Matthew M. Foster, 26, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 5:55 a.m., police responded to 152 Thayer St. in the lower middle apartment for a reported domestic disturbance. Inside, police observed Foster allegedly pusing a female. Further investigation revealed that Foster and the female had been in an argument. At one point, Foster allegedly pinned the victim to the bed and prevented her from leaving the residence. Foster also allegedly punched a hole into the bedroom wall. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Eric D. Knisley, 28, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree aggravated harassment. At 4:19 p.m., police responded to 25 Myrtle St. for an aggravated harassment complaint. Prior to arriving, officers were notifed that the suspect, Knisley, had a warrant out of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Knisley was located and charged after allegedly sending threatening voice messages to a victim. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Nyren L. Graham, 19, of Jamestown has been charged with a bench warrant, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and second-degree criminal impersonation. At 12:22 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a lower apartment at 269 Willard St. for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, officers observed Graham in the house and confirmed that he had a warrent from the city of Jamestown. Upon making contact, Graham gave officers a false name and identification card, then attempted to slam a door on officers in an attempt to prevent them from taking him into custody. The officers were able to take him into custody and transport him to Jamestown City Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
¯ Aaron L. Brown, 31, of Jamestown has been charged seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop at a stop sign, inadequate muffler, unlicensed operator and refusal to take a breath test. At 10:27 p.m. Saturday, officesr stopped a vehicle in the area of North Main Street and Marvin Parkway for vehicle and traffic law violations. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Brown, was intoxicated and also in possession of a small amount of crystal methamphetamine. Brown’s driving privileges in New York state were also found to have been suspended. Brown was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
¯ Kenneth Riedesel, 48, of Jamestown has been charged with third-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At 1:15 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a Pearl Avenue residence for a past-tense domestic dispute. The victim, Riedesel’s girlfriend, said Riedesel showed up to the house intoxicated and demanded a ride home. He then forced his way into the residence through a locked door without permission, damaging the door and its frame. While inside, Riedesel began to scream and yell, scaring two juveniles who were also inside the residence. Riedesel was taken into custody and transported to city jail without incident.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Nicole M. Shauman, 25, of Jamestown was charged on May 2 with petit larceny. At 7:49 p.m., Shauman was charged after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Donald A. Baker, 58, of Westfield was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:52 a.m., Baker was charged when allegedly found with one marijuana joint, when parked near the railroad tracks on English Street. He was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ ASHVILLE–Randall D. Lawergren, 61, of Ashville was charged Sunday with trespass. At 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to 5759 Button Valley Road in Ashville for a reported trespassing complaint. It is alleged that Lawergren was trespassing on another property without permission. He was scheduled to appear in Harmony Court at a later date.
¯ GERRY–Brandy L. Doucet, 29, of Jamestown was charged on April 24 with endangering the welfare of a child. Matthew S. Sowers, 40, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. A 17-year-old male was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 4:49 p.m., deputies were called to Gerry for a reported altercation between two people in a vehicle. It is alleged that Doucet, Sowers and the 17-year-old male were on their way to Dunkirk to sell a quantity of cocaine with three small children in the vehicle. All are scheduled to appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
¯ SHERIDAN–Mario V. Basilio-Antonio, 40, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to keep right and unlicensed operator. At 3:38 a.m., deputies pulled over Basilio-Antonio for an alleged traffic infraction on Newell Road in Sheridan. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court at a later date.
¯ NORTH HARMONY–Nathan T. Stow, 19, of Sherman was charged Saturday with speed not reasonable or prudent, failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se. At 2:05 a.m., deputies responded to Eggleston Hill Road in North Harmony for a report of a personal injury accident. It is alleged that the driver, Stow, was intoxicated. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries. Stow was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.
