JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Devin M. Berg, 40, was charged May 1 with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, and criminal obstruction of breathing/blood flow. According to police, at about 9:47 a.m., officers responded to a westside address for a reported domestic incident. Following an investigation, it was determined that Berg allegedly choked and punched the victim. During the incident, police said, Berg allegedly took the victim’s phone while the victim attempted to call 911, and broke it. Berg was placed into custody without incident and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.
