JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Mathew L. Brown, 18, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt. At 9 p.m., police responded to a domestic violence incident on the sidewalk of Forest Avenue. Upon arrival, police located Brown with a female victim and a small child. It is alleged that a valid order of protection required Brown to stay away from the female victim and child. He was taken to the Jamestown City Holding Facility and is being supervised by Probation.

¯Joshua S. Danielson, 35, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree assault. At 1:16 p.m., police responded to a Newland Avenue address for a reported physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police spoke with a female victim who stated she had an argument with Danielson over deleted text messages. The victim alleged that Danielson became so angry that he threw his cellphone and hit the victim, striking her in the ankle area and causing bruising. Danielson was located a short distance away and taken to city jail. He is reportedly on parole.

¯Curtis O. Nance Jr., 51, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with aggravated criminal contempt, third-degree assault, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 4:21 a.m., police responded to the area of Winsor Street for a reported physical domestic dispute. While en route, police were notified that a vehicle had fled the scene. Officers later located the vehicle and the driver–Nance–in the area of 53 Liberty St. It is alleged that Nance assaulted a female victim and was in violation of an order of protection. Nance was also allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to city jail.

¯Debbie L. Hires, 49, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 2:30 p.m., police responded to the U.S. Post Office, located at 752 Foote Ave., for a shoplifting complaint. It is alleged that Hires stole merchandise from the lobby, paid for postage and mailed out several letters. Officers completed a follow-up from the return address label and located Hires. She was taken to the Jamestown City Holding Facility. She is being supervised by the Probation Department.

¯Jacob J. Thomas, 32, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with aggravated DWI, DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely and driving on sidewalk. At 5:10 a.m., police responded to the area of 81 Barrett Ave. for a reported motor vehicle accident with injury. It is alleged that the driver, Thomas, was intoxicated and had struck two parked vehicles. He was taken to city jail and is currently on probation.

¯Brandon L. Hogue, 24, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation and aggravated Family Offense. At 9 a.m., police responded to an East Second Street address for s physical domestic dispute that occurred on a Crescent Street address hours earlier.

¯Tanner M. Jones, 27, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. At 12:36 p.m., police responded to a domestic incident where a woman was believed to be pulled into a house at 232 Buffalo St. Upon arrival, police spoke with a woman who alleged that her boyfriend, Jones, would not let her leave the house and that she was stopped multiple times. It is alleged that Jones broke property exceeding $250 and injured his girlfriend. She was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA for treatment. Jones was taken to city jail.

¯Heather M. Keith, 29, of Jamestown was charged Friday with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Joseph J. Thayer, 40, of Jamestown was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a cracked windshield, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 12:36 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle traveling north on Forest Avenue with a broken windshield. The driver, Thayer, allegedly possessed Suboxone and was also charged for unlicensed operation. His passenger, Keith, was allegedly in possession of three hypodermic needles. They were both taken to city jail.

¯Daniel D. Stewart, 22, was charged Saturday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstruction of breathing. At 10:30 p.m., police responded to a physical domestic dispute at a Crossman Street residence. It is alleged that Stewart choked a female victim and physically restrained her from leaving the apartment. Stewart was apprehended and taken to the city holding facility.

¯Joseph M. Helms, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and a Jamestown Police Department arrest warrant. At 6:45 p.m., police responded to 23 Weeks St. for a physical domestic incident in progress. Upon arrival, police heard a female inside the residence reportedly screaming for help. Police separated a man and woman inside the residence. The man, Helms, reportedly had an outstanding warrant from the JPD. It is alleged that he assaulted the victim and kept her at the residence against her will. Helms was taken to city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Casey S. Monroe, 29, of Lakewood was charged Friday with petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and false personation. At 3:46 p.m., police received a shoplifting complaint at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. The suspect, Monroe, allegedly gave responding officers the false name of Moor and a false Social Security Number. It is alleged that Monroe attempted to conceal his identity from police due to outstanding arrest warrants for felony driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation. Monroe allegedly possessed a small quantity of marijuana and cocaine. He was committed to the county jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯HANOVER–Jacob D. Seeley, 24, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with inadequate tail lamps and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 5:12 a.m., deputies pulled over Seeley for allegedly having no working tail lamps. It is alleged that he had a suspended driver’s license. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court.

¯SHERIDAN–Alexi Ruiz, 19, of Lancaster was charged Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 2:44 a.m., deputies responded to a suspicious situation at a business on Route 20 in Sheridan. A vehicle description was given and deputies pulled over the vehicle in Hanover. The driver, Ruiz, allegedly had a suspended driver’s license. Ruiz was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court.
