Author Signing Books Saturday

BUSTI – In a world that often moves too quickly during the holiday season, 27 voices have collaborated to offer a gentle reminder to slow down and savor the simple joys that the Christmas season brings. Through essays, short fiction, and poems, the authors in the anthology Renewed Christmas Blessings invite readers to embrace the idea that even in life’s most challenging moments, there is peace and joy to be found. Their stories also include accounts where laughter abounds, reminding us not to take life too seriously. Local writer Sally Ferguson is featured among the contributors in Renewed Christmas Blessings. In her chapter titled A Medley of Memories, Ferguson reminisced about seasons of change in the life of a family – a Christmas Eve baby, her father’s service in the Korean War, and her sister’s move from Indiana. Renewed Christmas Blessings: Short Stories, Poems, and Heartfelt Essays is available Friday at online book retailers. Ferguson will be selling signed copies at the Busti Fire Department Annual Craft Bazaar, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ferguson blogs at www.sallyferguson.net.
