Ashville Food Pantry Closed Saturday

ASHVILLE – The Ashville Food Pantry at the Ashville United Methodist Church will be closed Saturday because of the Ashville Days Festival and Parade. Those who have a food emergency and can’t wait until the pantry is open again on Thursday, July 25, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Panama Food Pantry is open Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. For more information, call Tina Swineford at 782-3282 for Panama or call Martha at 763-9252 for Ashville.

Rustic Ramblers To Perform

Saturday In Busti

BUSTI – The Busti Gazebo Concert series show on Saturday will feature the Rustic Ramblers, which features Howard Buck of Fredonia on lead guitar and vocals: David Bailey from Hartfield on drums and vocals: Jim Lanphere of Fredonia on bass and vocals: and Gene Hilts from West Valley on steel guitar. Concerts are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those attending should bring lawn chairs for seating.

Veterans Club To Host Chicken Barbecue

The ILS Veterans Club will host its signature chicken barbecue Sunday starting at noon and lasting until dinners are sold out. The club is located next to Arby’s on Fluvanna Avenue. Dinners include a half chicken, applesauce, and a roll plus a choice of roasted potatoes, macaroni salad, or baked beans. The cost for a full dinner is $14; chicken only is $11. Proceeds support service programs sponsored by the Sons of AMVETs and the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.

Outdoor Club

To Host Hike, Picnic Sunday

WARREN – On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will have a short hike followed by a potluck picnic. Those attending should meet at 2 p.m. for the hike at 1650 Liberty St. Ext., Warren. The picnic will follow at about 3 p.m. at the DeFrees Playground on Fourth Avenue and Hickory Street. Meat and water will be supplied. Bring a dish to pass, table service and a lawn chair.

Club To Host Gathering

The Chautauqua Lake Region Club of the Antique Automobile Club of America (CLRAACA) will be hosting a Coffee and Cars gathering at the gazebo at McCrea Point, Jamestown,on Sunday from to 11 a.m. rain or shine. Come talk with car enthusiasts, see some interesting vehicles and have coffee, donuts and conservation. The public is invited. All car enthusiasts are welcome.

Sherman School Board Slates Special Meeting Tuesday

SHERMAN – The Sherman Central School Board will meet at 8 a.m. Tuesday for a special meeting. The meeting will be held in-person in the school’s board room. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
