St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., Jamestown, announces that all clothing is now 50% off in all departments.The shop is well stocked with summer clothing for ladies, men and children. All proceeds are used in the local community.
ILS Veterans Club To Host Chicken BBQ Sunday
The ILS Veterans Club, located on Fluvanna Avenue next to Arby’s, will host its signature chicken barbecue Sunday from noon until sold out. The bar will be open and the public is welcomed to eat in or take out. Dinners include a half chicken, applesauce, and a roll plus a choice of roasted potatoes, macaroni salad, or baked beans. The cost for a full dinner is $14; chicken only is $11. Proceeds support service programs sponsored by the Sons of AMVETs and the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.
Bemus Point Library Offering STEM Programs July 29
BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Library is offering the first of its STEM programs for children in second through fifth grades on Monday at 4 p.m. Stephanie Nicks will demonstrate how to build a drawing robot. Children will be able to create artwork with their individual robots at the library and at home. Register by calling 716-386-2274. Spaces are limited.

All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
