Westfield

Planning Board To Meet

WESTFIELD — The westfield Village Planning Board will be holding work session meetings on the following dates: Oct. 2, Oct. 16, Oct. 30 and Nov. 13 at Eason Hall. The meetings will run from 3-5 p.m. The purpose of the meetings is to continue to work on the updating and rezoning of the B2 Highway Business District with the newly formed Community Gateway Overlay District within the B2 District boundary. A comparison of current uses defined in the district along with new uses and potentially outdated ones are also being reviewed. In addition, design guidelines may be imposed on certain developments within the newly formed Community Gateway Overlay District. All citizens with an interest may attend these public meetings.

Randolph School Board To Meet

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School Board of Education will hold a regular board meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m. in the library of the high school. The public is welcome to attend. 5-Hour Course Offered At

Frewsburg High School On

Oct. 16

FREWSBURG — A five-hour pre-licensing driving course will be offered at Frewsburg High School on Monday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 10 p.m. The cost is $30. Preregister by emailing rhair@frewsburgcsd.org — include a picture of the driver’s learner’s permit — or by calling 716-569-7026 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. When calling, make sure to have the driver’s learner’s permit on hand.

Valley Historical Society To Hold October Meeting On Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will hold its October meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sinclairville Fire Hall. The speaker will be Tina Scott, former director of the Prendergast Library and current member of the Harmony Historical Society. Scott will speak on the history and the current workings of the Harmony Historical Society. The society maintains a campus in Blockville where they hold a history fair each fall. Anyone interested in local history is invited to attend.
