Gerry Senior Citizens To Meet This Friday

GERRY –The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet Friday, Aug. 12, at noon in the United Methodist Church for a luncheon and program. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to share with others, and their own table service. The program will follow the luncheon. President Ann Hellman welcomes all.

ILS Veterans Club To Hold Chicken BBQ

A Chicken barbecue will be hosted by the ILS Veterans Club, Fluvanna Ave. next to Arby’s on Sunday, Aug. 14, from noon until sold out. Dinner includes one-half chicken, applesauce, roll and choice of roasted potatoes, mac salad, or baked beans . Cost is $12 full dinner and $8 chicken only.

Legion Holding Vendor/Craft Show

FREWSBURG –An End of Summer Vendor/Craft Show will be held at the Frewsburg American Legion, 9 Meadow Lane Frewsburg, on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. There is no cost for admission and a 50/50 auction will take place.

Historical Society Holds Yard Sale

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Historical Society is hosting a fundraising yard sale on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Mary Jane Stahley Award given to a Maple Grove student each spring. The sale will be held at the BPHS Museum on Alburtus Avenue.

Busti Fire Dept. Auxiliary To Meet

The Busti Fire Department Auxiliary is meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. The group will be discussing the Apple Festival menu, prices and schedule. Members are asked to please try to attend.
