Volunteers Needed At Lakeview Cemetery

The United Veterans Council of Jamestown is looking for volunteers to help place flags on veterans graves. They will be placing flags Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery beginning with a short memorial service at 4 p.m. in Soldier’s Circle. Flags will also be available for Holy Cross and Holy Sepulcher Cemeteries. For more information call 716-450-6768.

FALCONER –The Thule Lodge will hold its annual Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Falcon’s Nest in Falconer. Those members who died in the last year will be remembered by the chaplain and the chairman in a ceremony. All are welcome to attend.

Panama Announces Reunion

PANAMA — Panama Central School’s 2022 alumni reunion will be held Saturday, June 18, at Panama United Methodist Church. Registration is at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. Dinner is provided by 3C’s Catering, with reservations and $25 payment due by June 1. Payments will not be accepted the evening of the banquet. Mobile Pantry Truck To Park At Ashville Church

ASHVILLE –The Feed More of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Falconer will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church today from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, only proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Wear a face mask and keep six feet of social distance while inside. The food will be pre-boxed. A volunteer will sign people in and take their box to their car.
