SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in the middle-high school multipurpose room. The public is welcome to attend.

Library At Fenton Museum Closed Till Further Notice

Due to the increase in COVID cases, the Hall House Research Library at the Fenton History Center is closed to the public beginning today until further notice. Private appointments can be made by contacting the Fenton at 664-6256.

Safety Plan Meeting Tues. Sept. 28

On Tuesday, the Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will hold a public hearing regarding the district wide safety plan at 5:45 p.m. in the board room of the Administration Building, 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. Following the Public Hearing, the board’s regular meeeting will begin at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Mobile Pantry Truck To Stop

In Ashville

ASHVILLE — The Feed More of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Falconer will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Sept. 28. Open hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, only proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Please wear your face mask and keep 6 feet distance while in line. The food will be pre-boxed like last month. A volunteer will sign you in and take your box to your car. The Vally Historical Society Meeting Oct. 5

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will hold its October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Sinclairville Free Library. The society president, Larry Barmore, will present some history of local interest. He will give a short talk on Hooker Road, Charlotte Center, Pickett’s school and other items of local interest. Anyone interested in local history is invited to attend.

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. in the Randolph High School. Those who wish to attend are asked to contact Maureen Pitts, district clerk, at 358-7005 or mpitts@randolphcsd.org to make arrangements by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
