Breast Cancer Group To Meet

The Breast Cancer Support Group will meet Wednesday at Alfie’s on Fairmount Avenue. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Janine Brady, dietitian from UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. For reservations, call Pat at 665-4343 by Monday.

Zoning Board To Hold Meeting

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m. today in the Randolph Municipal Building to consider a variance request for Ginger Hitchcock at 11 Larkin St. to place a storage shed closer to the property line than code setback allows.

Historical Society To Meet Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the museum in Sinclairville. John Sipos will share a Patriotic moment in honor of the country’s independence. The society will also be honoring Sipos for his birthday. Anyone interested in local history is welcome to attend. For more information call Larry Barmore, president, at 985-4870. Pie Tent To Held July 28-29

WESTFIELD — The Westfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will have its pie tent at the annual Westfield Arts and Crafts Show in Moore Park on July 28-29. An assortment of pies will be available each day from 9 a.m. until sold out, both by the slice and by the pie. All proceeds will be used to further ongoing projects at Westfield Memorial Hospital. The auxiliary is looking for pie bakers. All pies are acceptable except those that require refrigeration such as cream or custard pies. Monetary donations are also accepted. Land Bank To Meet Wednesday

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corp. will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 2 N. Erie St., Mayville, to discuss the possible acquisition and sale of property and other official business as required. The public is welcome to attend.

Alzheimer’s Group To Meet Tuesday

The Alzheimer’s Association monthly caregiver support group will meet Tuesday, July 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room at the JAMA Building, 15 S. Main St., Jamestown. An evening monthly caregiver support group will meet on Thursday, July 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Fluvanna Community Church on Fluvanna Avenue Extension. The groups are for anyone 18 years or older who is caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related diagnoses. Senior Picnic Set For Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Senior Citizens will hold their annual summer picnic at the Stockton Firemen’s Grounds on Tuesday at noon. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided, and those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to add to the meal. New members are always welcome.
