Jamestown Woman Charged In Assault With Knife A Jamestown woman is facing numerous charges after an assault at a southside residence late Saturday. Brandi R. Haight, 33, is facing charges of first-degree assault, two counts of first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. Upon arrival on scene around 10 p.m., officers located the victim inside of the residence with a severe laceration to her face. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — David A. Burkholder, 41, and Cynthia M. Messere, 29, both of Jamestown, were each charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Officers responded at 1:17 a.m. Friday to the south side of the city for a reported domestic dispute. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Christina L. Dorman, 48, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 7 p.m. Wednesday to the east side of the city for a warrant check. Dorman was taken into custody on a domestic violence warrant. Police later learned that Dorman had allegedly violated an order of protection against her inside an apartment. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment in court. — Erik V.
