JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Robert M. Porter Jr., 58, of Celoron, was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded at 4:19 a.m. Sunday to a downtown address for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Porter had allegedly forced his way into an apartment and punched another person repeatedly causing injuries. Porter was later found to be in possession of Suboxone.
