CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF - Jonathon M. Tresler, 37, of Fredonia was charged with aggravated family offense and second-degree criminal contempt. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division received a report that Tresler allegedly contacted a juvenile victim in violation of a full stay-away order of protection issued against him. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Alexander E. Schultz, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On 11:30 Friday evening, police responded to an address in the city's northside for a reported assault. Police determined upon arrival that Schultz had allegedly assaulted a victim with a baseball bat. Grant, 36, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree felony grand larceny and resisting arrest at 3:53 a.m. Friday after officers responded to a reported domestic dispute on the north side of the city. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Grant, who allegedly had taken a person's cellular phone without their permission.
