JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Latrisha S. McCarty, 54, of Clymer was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday after city police officers saw her in the area of Liberty and East Eighth streets knowing she had an outstanding arrest warrant. McCarty was taken into custody and when they searched her, allegedly found methamphetamine. McCarty was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
– Nylix J. Thomas, 22, of Jamestonw was charged with resisting arrest in addition to having an outstanding arrest warrant for second-degree harassment after a domestic incident on the city’s north side at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday. Officers arrived on scene and found Thomas had an active arrest warrant. Officers told Thomas he was under arrest and Thomas allegedly fled into the home. Officers were able to place Nylix under arrest and took him to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
