JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Arthur S. Norene, 48, of Jamestown, was charged June 17 with aggravated criminal contempt, third-degree assault, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. According to police, at about 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a southside residence for a reported domestic dispute. During the investigation officers made contact with Norene, and determined that he allegedly had assaulted the victim before forcibly restraining the victim. Patterson, 40, of Jamestown was charged June 15 with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, and two counts of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. According to police, at about 8 a.m., officers responded to the area of Baker Street and Prather Avenue for a reported assault. During the investigation, officers determined that Patterson, allegedly had been involved in a domestic incident, and had operated a maroon sedan while his driving privileges were revoked. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — HANOVER — At around 11 p.m. Saturday the Chautuaqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Allegany Road. The operator was identified as Michael E. Davis, 58, of Dunkirk. Further investigation found Davis to be driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and failure to stop at a stop sign. He will be in the town of Hanover court at a later date and time. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Adam J. Garbrandt, 22, of Jamestown, was charged June 11 with third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree assault. According to police, at about 7:32 a.m., officers responded to a downtown establishment for a reported disorderly person complaint. Officers, police said, were advised that a male allegedly had broken out a window at the establishment, and left the scene. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Steven C. Cabisca, 53, of Jamestown, was charged June 9 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 9:10 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a westside address. Upon arrival, police said, officers made contact with Cabisca, who had an active probation warrant from the state of Pennsylvania for possession of a controlled substance.
