JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Andrew J. Cowan, 33, of Jamestown, was charged May 12 with driving while intoxicated. According to police, at about 11:39 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at Washington and 14th streets, for an observed traffic violation. During the investigation, police said, it was determined that the driver, Cowan, allegedly was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. A Warren man has been taken to the Warren County Prison on $500,000 bail after allegedly stabbing another person in the neck during a dispute early Tuesday morning. Nathan A. Steinman, 18, of Warren has been charged with first-degree felony criminal attempt - criminal homicide, first-degree felony aggravated assault - attempts to cause serious bodily injury or causes injury with extreme indifference, second-degree felony aggravated assault - attempts to cause or causes bodily injury with a deadly weapon and second-degree misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Erika Guerrero, 30, of Stockton, was charged May 17 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speeding, failure to keep right, and failure to notify the state Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change. According to officials, at about 4:59 a.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the town of Stockton. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — SHERMAN — At 10:40 a.m. Saturday, deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office followed up on a person with a weapon complaint that occurred on May 11 in the village. Through an investigation it was determined that Ronald Reed, 66, of Sherman was found to have threatened an individual during a verbal altercation. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Deborah M. Rowland, 46, of Jamestown was charged May 13 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 4:49 p.m., officers, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were conducting a joint search on the Southside when they observed Rowland, who was known to be wanted by the Rio Rancho Police Department in New Mexico. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Jessica M. Wolfgang, 46, of Jamestown, was charged May 12 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 9:31 p.m., officers were on patrol on the Northside when they observed Wolfgang, who was known to be wanted by Pennsylvania State Parole.
