City woman charged after alleged stabbing, robbery

A Jamestown woman faces charges after allegedly stabbing another person and robbing them Monday night. Jamestown police report Brionna S. Bush, 26, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 11:21 p.m. Monday on Jamestown's east side after officers responded to a report of a person with a weapon and a person who had been stabbed. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Daniel M. Bair, 51, of Jamestown, was charged May 28 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 11:30 a.m., officers conducted a street check on Baird on North Main Street. Police said officers were aware that Baird had an active warrant through JPD. He was placed into custody without incident, and taken to Jamestown City Jail where he was found to be in alleged possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine. WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT — WESTFIELD — At approximately 12:51 p.m. Thursday, the Westfield Police Department responded to a report of an assault on North Portage Street in the village. Following an investigation, officers determined that Sean M. Mcilveen, 49, intentionally caused serious physical injury to the victim during a physical altercation. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Jack E. Wyant, 21, of Falconer, was charged May 27 with aggravated criminal contempt, and third-degree assault. According to police, at about 11:04 p.m., officers, and the New York State Police responded to an in-progress domestic dispute on the east side. Through investigation, it was discovered that Wyant allegedly engaged in a physical altercation causing physical injuries to the victim. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Shawn M. Paprocki, 39, was charged May 26 with resisting arrest, and having an outstanding arrest warrant. According to police, at about 3:04 a.m., officers were responding to a domestic dispute. When responding, police said, officers located Paprocki walking downtown. Officers were aware that Paprocki had an outstanding arrest warrant as well. Police said officers attempted to stop Paprocki, and Paprocki allegedly attempted to flee on foot. OFFICIALS CONFIRM IDENTIFY OF BODY DISCOVERED IN LAKE Officials with the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed that the body pulled from Chautauqua Lake Saturday morning is that of Daniel “Scott” Emerson. Around 8:45 a.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible body on the shoreline near the Stow Ferry in North Harmony.
