CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
-- HARMONY -- At approximately 9:12 a.m. Sunday, deputies were dispatched to a reported altercation on Madden Road. Upon further investigation, 33-year-old Kyle D. Elderkin did intentionally damage property inside of a residency. Elderkin was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and transported to county jail for arraignment.
-- POMFRET -- Around 6:03 a.m. Saturday, deputies received a vehicle complaint on Spoden Road. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle which was a RV motor home and conducted a traffic stop. The operator was identified as 33-year-old Caitlin R. Lupino of Cherry Creek. Through an investigation Lupino was found to be driving while intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to the substation for processing. She will answer charges later.
-- FORESTVILLE -- At 1 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into alleged conduct committed against a minor.
Through an investigation it was determined that 36-year-old Chelsea Richter of Forestville, did engage in conduct believed to be harmful to the welfare of a child. Deputies did locate Richter and attempted to take her into custody.
Following a brief physical altercation she was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree unlawful dealing with a child and resisting arrest.
Following a search, she was found to be in possession of 0.7 grams of cocaine, 2 grams of methamphetamines, and other items. In addition, she was charged with fifth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where she was to partake in their Centralized Arraignment Program. She will be in town court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
-- Teanna K. Morano, 30, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
At 04:40 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a south side address for a reported domestic dispute. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. Upon further investigation, it was found that Morano damaged property during the dispute.
Morano was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail where she was
held pending arraignment.
