Panama Man Faces More Charges In Rape Case

PANAMA — A Panama man originally charged April 20 with rape involving two juvenile girls faces a slew of additional charges following an investigation, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Frederick L. Antill Jr., 50, of Niobe Road, Panama, was arraigned in the Clymer Town Court following the execution of an arrest warrant on April 20 for the charges of third-degree criminal sex act and second-degree rape. The initial charges stemmed from an investigation from February through March involving Antill and two juvenile girls.

An investigation was conducted further by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of Child Protective Services of Chautauqua County and The Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County. The results include additional charges of 11 counts of third-degree criminal sex act, predatory assault against a child, first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, second-degree rape and second-degree abuse.

Antill Jr was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1 million cash bail, $2 million property.
