World’s Largest Swimming Lesson

On June 20, the Jamestown YMCA invited 52 third-grade students from Love Elementary School to be part of The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. The students participated in the 30-minute lesson, which was taught and led by YMCA-trained and certified instructors and lifeguards. The ability to have the students reinforce the lessons learned the previous year during ASD and be part of a Guinness World Record was due to the generous donations to the Y’s partner with youth campaign. Lessons are offered at a variety of times on different days. Class times and descriptions can be found at https://www.jamestownymca.org/youthdev/youth-swimming-lessons/.
