BUSTI — The Ultimate North East Late Model Series will make its first-ever appearance at Stateline Speedway on Monday, after suffering torrential rains prior to Saturday night’s scheduled start of the event.

With pits filling up rapidly, the rain started about an hour prior to race time, first as a sprinkle, then increasing to a torrential downpour by the scheduled starting time, leaving no choice but to postpone the entire evening of racing.

Monday’s racing will begin at 6 p.m. with pit gates opening at 3 p.m. and the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Rain check stubs and wristbands will be honored from Saturday.
