Trump Labels Obama The ‘Worst’ President

To The Reader’s Forum: Donald J. Trump last week labeled former President Barack Obama our “worst president.” That baseless accusation was apparently based on General Flynn, a convicted liar, was “unmasked” by President Obama, when in fact Flynn had never been “masked” by anyone at any time. County Election Inspectors Worked For A Successful Election Day

To The Reader’s Forum: Volumes of complaints about Primary Election Day mismanagement are on the front page of newspapers across the entirety of New York State. We are glad to report that over 200 county election inspectors and Mayville staff worked and again brought home a successful June 23 Chautauqua County primary election. To The Reader’s Forum: On Dec. 21,1879, James Prendergast, grandson of founder of Jamestown died unexpected from illness in Buffalo, N.Y. Upon his wishes, all his profits of the Prendergast block was to go to build a free library. Pendergast Library was born. When it opened doors to public on Dec. 1, 1891, the evening journal noted, “The opening of the Prendergast Library marks an important epoch in our local history. The Second Amendment Is A Right To Bear Arms, Not A Right To Threaten

To The Reader’s Forum: The Second Amendment of the US Constitution guarantees a citizen of this country the right to bear arms. However, it does not give someone the right to threaten another person’s life with that weapon. As a matter of law, a verbal or written threat on someone’s life with a gun most likely is a crime. VA Western New York Healthcare System established community-based clinics beginning in March of 1995 with the opening of the first clinic in Jamestown, New York. To The Reader’s Forum: Rickey Armstrong Sr., President of the Seneca Nation of Indians, responded to a petition calling for a change from Jamestown High School’s athletic team names by saying that names like Jamestown’s “degrade, mock, and offend Native traditions, Native culture, and Native people.” It is time we listen to what our Seneca Nation neighbors are telling us — this name is hurtful and offensive.
