To The Reader’s Forum: The January 6 (J6) Congressional Committee has completed its first round of public hearings. While the hearings were intended for the full public, I don’t know how many people were paying attention. Be that as it may, the J6 Committee put together words from Trump administration officials, Capitol police testimony and video of the J6 attack on the US Capitol. Murals On Retaining Walls Would Be Good Addition To Chadakoin Riverwalk

To The Reader’s Forum: I read with interest your recent article about the restoration of the Chadakoin River through the efforts of the Chautauqua Watershed Conservatory and Twan Leenders. I think the Riverwalk would be even more beautiful if, in addition to all the plans outlined in the article, the retaining walls on the far side of the river could be painted with murals depicting nature scenes such as native plants and wildlife. In 2009, Moore stated that climate change was ”the biggest scam of the last two decades.” More recently, in 2019, he argued that the Federal Reserve should not factor into decision making the economic impacts of climate change. We also commend Mayor Sundquist and the City Council for the Vision Zero and the concern to reduce pedestrian injuries and fatalities. Meaningful improvements to Jamestown’s streets are long overdue. To The Reader’s Forum: Microstamping did not work during the Pataki administration and it will not work now. Governor Pataki, a Republican, introduced and passed legislation mandating that any new handguns coming into New York state need a fired case provided by the factory. That was suppose to be the DNA of the firearm. Many manufacturers would not provide a fired case because it was added expense mixed with total nonsense.
