JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Jeremy M. Rogers, 23, of Jamestown was arrested and charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child following an incident Monday morning. Officers responded at 3:53 a.m. Monday to a south side residence to check on the welfare of an individual. Officers allege that Rogers was heavily intoxicated, and the state of the residence was “deplorable.” Officers report that they observed four children, sleeping in close proximity, to dog and human feces. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Heidi S. Waite-Coone, 43, was charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident. At about 1:21 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to assist fire and rescue with a reported chair on fire inside a southside residence. Upon arrival, Jamestown Fire Department was able to conclude that there was no fire, or any evidence of an extinguished fire. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – PORTLAND – Anthony R. Johnson, 34, of West Seneca was charged Thursday morning with second-degree criminal trespass. At about 5:30 a.m. deputies responded to an address on Route 20 in the town of Portland for a suspicious male inside a residence sleeping, later identified as Johnson. ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT - Branden A. Brown, 33, of Falconer was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment after an incident Oct. 26, 2021. Brown allegedly threatened bodily harm to the victim while using a Facetime app. An arrest warrant was issued after the incident, but Brown did not live in the area at the time.
