Damonti, 42, of Falconer was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 9:29 p.m. Thursday after officers saw him walking on East Second Street. Officers report knowing Damonti had an active arrest warrant through Jamestown City Court. Damonti allegedly was found with methamphetamine. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Noel Luciano, 43, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 12:06 p.m. Monday at a hotel on Jamestown’s west side. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT --- Three city residents are facing charges after a traffic stop on Huxley Street near Front at 8 p.m. Friday. During the course of the probe, officers determined that Randall K. Mesler, 55, Stephen H. Cassidy, 48, and Christopher S. Haberberger, 39, were all in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and a billy club. Cassidy was also found to be in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT --- CHAUTAUQUA -- At around 4:35 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a suspicious situation complaint. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the operator of the vehicle who was identified as Andrew C. Harris, 27, of Westfield. Through an investigation, it was found that Harris was operating the vehicle while having a suspended license. DUNKIRK SENTENCED FOR GUN INCIDENT — A Dunkirk man is headed behind bars for threatening people with a firearm at a city business. According to District Attorney Jason Schmidt, Jimmy Watts, 49, has been sentenced to 8 years in state prison with 5 years of post-release supervision by Judge David Foley after being convicted of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class C violent felony.
