JAMESTOWN POLICE - An 18-year-old Jamestown youth was charged with gang assault early Wednesday morning. Around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jamestown police officers were alerted to an in-progress assault behind the former Oriental Star restaurant in Brooklyn Square, on the Riverwalk. According to a police report, officers arrived and saw three people running west across South Main street. Officers caught two youths and 18-year-old Julio Arizmendi. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — SHERIDAN --- A vehicle pursuit last week has led to drug charges against at town resident. Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report its Criminal Investigation Division attempted to stop Philip A. Decker, 25, who was a known suspended operator. He failed to comply and led an investigator on a pursuit from the town of Sheridan into the town of Hanover on Thursday. CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – PERRYSBURG – Three people are facing drug charges following a police raid. According to deputies, on June 12, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Gun Parker Drive in the town of Perrysburg. During the search of the residence, officers allegedly discovered a quantity of crack cocaine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Zachary Clark, 55, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt following an incident which took place Thursday morning. Officers conducted a street check at 12:59 a.m. at an address on the city’s west side. Officers report that Clark, who has several active arrest warrants from JPD was also allegedly in violation of a duly served order of protection.
