JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Cody E. Reichenbach, 30, homeless, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglar’s tools at 8:50 a.m. Sunday after officers on patrol near West Fourth Street and Mechanics Alley saw an individual carrying a large section of copper pipe and tools to cut pipe. Officers found Reichenbach had allegedly taken the copper off of a downtown business. Reichenbach was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
– Krista J. Jones, 33, of Jamestown was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, unsafe tires and uninspected motor vehicle after she was pulled over at 2:17 a.m. Monday on Forest Avenue. Officers pulled the vehicle over for having a suspended registration. During the course of the traffic stop, Jones allegedly failed field sobriety testing and was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. A check of Jones’ operating privileges revealed that her privileges in New York state are revoked for refusing to submit to a chemical test during a previous DWI investigation. This is Jones’ third DWI arrest by the Jamestown Police Department within a year, according to a police report. Jones was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
