CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
FINDLEY LAKE – Daniel A. Cephas, 29, of Erie, Pa., was charged at 11:23 p.m. on Oct. 25 with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speed in zone. Sheriff’s patrol stopped a speeding motorist on Sunnyside Avenue in Findley Lake. The operator was identified as Daniel A. Cephas. Following an investigation, he was taken into custody for processing and later released to family members. He will appear in Mina Town Court on a future date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Warren E. Dinkins, 51, of Jamestown, was charged at 1:15 a.m. on Thursday with third-degree assault. Jamestown Police Department officers responded to a Prospect Street address for a domestic dispute in progress. Further investigation revealed that Dinkins punched the victim in the nose causing swelling and heavy bleeding. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
BROCTON – Timothy W. Harris, 27, of Warren, Ohio, was charged at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday with driving while ability impaired-drugs and parking on highway. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the village of Brocton for a report of a vehicle stopped in the driving lane of a village street. Upon arrival, deputies observed a vehicle parked in the middle of Blood Street. Deputies identified the operator as Timothy W. Harris and through a brief investigation, found he was allegedly operating his vehicle while impaired by the use of drugs. Harris was processed, later arraigned in Brocton Village Court, and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Gladys V. Smith, 28, of Jamestown was charged at 5 p.m. on Tuesday with petit larceny at the Lakewood Wal-Mart for allegedly stealing $33.99 in aquarium merchandise. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court on a later date.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
WARREN – Floyd A. Lindstrom Jr., 38, of Ripley was charged at 5:10 p.m. on Oct. 20 with stopping, standing and parking outside business and residence districts, and Logan Lauffenburger, 22, of Russell, Pennsylvania, was also charged with careless driving. Lindstrom was parked facing north, straddling the east fog line on state Route 62 at Valentine Run Road. Lauffenburger was traveling northbound on state Route 62 when he allegedly struck the rear of the vehicle driven by Lindstrom and spun out from the impact into the southbound lane of travel, hitting into a vehicle driven by Harland Brian, 72, of Clarendon and striking the Lindstrom vehicle in the driver’s rear quarter panel as it was traveling southbound. Lauffenburger’s vehicle came to final rest after the two impacts facing south alongside the eastern berm. Brian’s vehicle came to a final rest facing south in the northbound lane of travel. Lauffenburger was transported from the scene by the Russell Volunteer Fire Department and Emergycare personnel for non-life-threatening injuries. Lindstrom and Brian were not injured.
PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP – Christopher S. Shields, 34, of Tidioute, Pennsylvania, was charged at 2:55 a.m. on Sunday with driving under the influence along with summary traffic violations pending blood alcohol content results. Shields was traveling south on Cole Hill Road when he crossed the entire roadway and struck a tree. The front end of the vehicle became engaged with the tree and was rendered not drivable. During the crash investigation, it was found that Shields was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to Warren General Hospital for a blood test.
WARREN – Glenn M. Minnis, 43 and Randy E. Hildum, 35, both of Warren, Pennsylvania, were charged at 1:17 a.m. on Oct. 24 with harassment. Both allegedly subjected each other to unwanted physical contact during a physical altercation at 121 Jackson Run Road, Warren and will answer to a summery charge of harassment with District Court 37-3-01.
PLEASANT TOWNSHIP – An 11-year old juvenile and 14-year old juvenile, both of Clarendon, Pennsylvania, were charged with criminal mischief at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The incident occurred, allegedly causing $150 damage to a vacant residence on the premise of the Wilderness Park Trailer Park in Clarendon.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dwayne A. Smith, 47, of Kennedy, was charged at 3:52 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated felony DWI per se blood alcohol content .18 percent or greater, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operator. Ellicott Police, assisted by Jamestown Police, observed a vehicle in a Falconer parking lot with its headlights on and found a single male occupant passed out behind the steering wheel, slumped over. Further investigation found him to be intoxicated. Smith was taken into custody for processing and charged. He was later released with traffic tickets and an appearance ticket to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
Daniel D. Skaggs, 26, of Jamestown was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance not in original container, unlawful possession of marijuana and unsecured load Monday. State police stopped a pickup truck pulling a trailer that was depositing refuse on state Route 430. Troopers, assisted by K-9 Kubi, allegedly found Skaggs to be in possession of 10 grams of marijuana and Xanax pills. Skaggs was released to a third party and will appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.
RANDOLPH – Sue Foster, 41, of Randolph was charged with criminal impersonation and falsifying business records Monday. Foster allegedly used her sister’s information at a traffic stop last March and received a citation. The sister subsequently had her driver’s license suspended for failure to answer a summons. An investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department and state police determined Foster had fraudulently used her sister’s information. Foster will appear in Randolph Town Court at a later date.
GERRY – Richard T. Sendall, 30, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and two traffic tickets. Sendall was stopped on Gerry-Levant Road for tinted windows. While interviewing the driver, troopers allegedly noticed a strong odor of marijuana. Sendall will answer the charges in Town of Gerry Court.
PORTLAND – Juan Cruz-Corraliza, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to use headlights/windshield wipers Thursday. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 5 in Portland for inadequate headlights. A Department of Motor Vehicles check revealed Cruz-Corraliza had a suspended driver’s license for failure to pay fines to Dunkirk City Court and the DMV. Cruz-Corraliza will answer the charges Nov. 13 in Portland Town Court.
POMFRET – Matthew Demarco, 24, of Jamestown, and David Trout, 25, of Jamestown were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for speeding Thursday. The driver, Demarco, and his passenger, Trout, were allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. Demarco was also issued a ticket for speeding. They are expected to answer the charges today in Pomfret Town Court.
POMFRET – Michael Klepfer, 33, of Fredonia was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, moving from lane unsafely and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for crossing the fog line three times Sunday. The driver, Klepfer, allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was also found to be in possession of a plastic baggie of marijuana as well as a glass smoking pipe. Klepfer was transported to State Police at Fredonia with a BAC reading of .11 percent. He will answer the charges in Pomfret Town Court on Nov. 18.
POMFRET – Alexander Cieplinski, 22, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and following too closely. Police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Route 60 near Shumla Road in Pomfret on Saturday. An interview of the victim and a witness revealed Cieplinski had rear-ended another vehicle and left the scene northbound on Route 60. Cieplinski was located and allegedly recorded a .16 percent blood alcohol content. He will answer the charges Nov. 18 in Pomfret Town Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Breanna N. Bachmann, 20, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault. At 6:14 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Spring Street for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers determined that Bachmann allegedly punched a 10-year-old female in the face. Bachmann was taken to the city jail without incident. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Bruce A. Pullan, 46, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, felony DWI, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, no seat belt and failure to provide any identification or driver’s license. At 5:17 p.m., officers observed a driver not wearing his seat belt at the intersection of East Fourth Street and Prendergast Avenue. The driver-Pullan-was allegedly intoxicated. He also had a prior conviction in the past 10 years. Pullan was taken to the city jail and is being held on bail.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Michael A. Orazio, 43, of Falconer was recently charged with theft of service. It is alleged that Orazio used an extension cord to obtain electric service from other tenants within the complex. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Joseph J. Casel, 43, of Jamestown was charged on Oct. 11 with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Police responded to America’s Best Value on Fairmount Avenue for a reported larceny. It is alleged that Casel stole an ATV from the location and fled in a blue van. Police later located the van and ATV at a Jamestown address. Casel will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Joseph F. Trusso, 24, of Falconer was charged Saturday with failure to yield the right of way when entering the roadway, driving while intoxicated common law and DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more. At 3:15 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Richard Avenue in Falconer for failing to yield the right of way. It is alleged that the driver-Trusso-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Seth J. Assalone, 25, of St. Marys, Pennsylvania, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more and failing to keep right. It is alleged that Assalone was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PORTLAND-Christian Carver, 28, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. At 1:23 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle speeding on Route 5 in Portland. Investigation revealed that the driver-Carver-had revoked driving privileges. He was remanded to the county jail where his bail was set at $500.
BROCTON-Kimberlee M. McCracken, 43, of Erie, Pennsylvania was charged Friday with speed in zone, DWI and DWI per se. At 2:07 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on West Main Street in Brocton for speeding. It is alleged that the driver-McCracken-was intoxicated. She will appear in Brocton Court at a later date.
POMFRET-Zachary N. Hass, 24, of Brocton was charged Saturday with failing to signal, DWI and DWI per se. At 2:07 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for failing to signal a turn on Wilson Road in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver-Hass-was intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK-Heather Kinal, 32, of Maple Springs was charged Saturday with failing to yield right of way, DWI and DWI per se. At 9:36 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for failing to yield the right of way on Old Road in French Creek. It is alleged that the driver-Kinal-was intoxicated. She will appear in French Creek Court at a later date.
POMFRET-James B. Erickson, 48, of Stockton was charged Sunday with moving from lane unsafely, DWI and DWI per se. At 2:47 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for moving from its lane unsafely on McAllister Road in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver-Erickson-was intoxicated. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
DUNKIRK-Nelson Rodriguez, 21, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. At 4 p.m., the task force and Dunkirk Police took Rodriguez into custody on an outstanding drug arrest warrant. The charges stem from an investigation alleging that Rodriguez sold quantities of crack cocaine to task force agents in Dunkirk. He was remanded to the county jail pending further action from the court.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
POMFRET-Matthew Demarco, 24, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding. David Trout, 25, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Fredonia State Police stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for speeding. The driver – Demarco – and backseat passenger – Trout – were found to be in possession of marijuana. Both will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT-Susan A. Smith, 58, of Lakewood was charged on Oct. 23 with aggravated driving while intoxicated after police responded to a report of an erratic driver on Route 60 in Ellicott. State Troopers located the vehicle and after investigation placed Smith under arrest for DWI. She was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .27 was obtained. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Donald A. Myers, 58, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief following an incident that occurred Friday. At 5:55 p.m. officers were dispatched 206 Barrett Ave. for reports of a subject breaking windows. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim who stated that a subject broke three windows to her residence. Officers made contact with Myers at 210 Barrett Ave. Upon investigation, officers determined that Myers was angry at the victim and threw a rock at the windows – causing the damage. Myers was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.
Aaron R. Porter, 27, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespass Friday following a domestic incident. At 9 p.m., officers responded to reports of a domestic incident at 183 Main St., where it was determined that Porter refused to leave the house of the victim during the incident. Porter was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He is currently being held pending arraignment.
Cody J. Olsen, of Jamestown was charged following the execution of a Jamestown City Court warrant on Friday. At 10:24 a.m., police responded to 20 Beverly Place to serve the warrant. Olsen was located and, upon incident to his arrest, was found in possession of marijuana. He was also wanted out of Pennsylvania for a felony charge. Olsen was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He is charged with fugitive from justice and unlawful possession of marijuana along with the outstanding warrant.
David J. Tyes, 30, of Buffalo was charged with fugitive from justice and second-degree obstructing governmental administration following an incident that occurred in Jamestown on Saturday. At 5:06 p.m., officers attempted to street check a male, later identified as Tyes, in the 100 block of Falconer Street. Tyes was wanted on a parole violation out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Tyes ran from officers but was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Casey G. Hansen, 22, of Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, Adam M. Woodin, 22, of Corry, Pennsylvania, and Nicole E. McCormick, 21, of Jamestown have all been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:55 a.m. on Saturday, officers executed a vehicle stop on Forest Avenue Extension for loud exhaust. While speaking with Woodin, who was driving the vehicle, officers allegedly detected a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After further search with the assistance of Jamestown Police Department K-9 unit Mitchell, officers located two bags of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The three occupants were charged and issued appearance tickets to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Joshua A. Tolman, 24, of Sinclairville received multiple charges following a traffic stop in the town of Charlotte on Saturday. At 2:45 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 60. Investigation led to the discovery that the driver of the vehicle, Tolman, was intoxicated. Tolman was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, speeding and failure to keep right. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Charlotte Town Court next month to answer the charges.
Carla Y. Andujar-Rosado, 24, of Dunkirk has been charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without insurance and operating while registration suspended or revoked. At 11:35 p.m. on Friday, deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. Deputies stopped the vehicle and, upon further investigation, it was found that Andujar-Rosado was operating the vehicle while having a suspended registration, suspended license and no insurance on the vehicle. Andujar-Rosado was issued traffic tickets and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
Allen B. Carlson Jr., 41, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny last week after it was found that he was allegedly using monies owned by the Lakeshore Midget Football League for his own finances. The midget football league is comprised of teams from Sherman-Ripley, Chautauqua Lake, Bemus Point, Southwestern, Frewsburg, Cassadaga, Brocton, Westfield, Falconer and Panama. Carlson was acting as the league’s treasurer when used the league’s funds to pay various debts of his between Sept. 8 and Oct. 15. In the two-month span, Carlson managed to steal $4,785.75 from the league’s account before it was observed. Upon learning this information, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Investigation Division was contacted and the incident was investigated. Carlson was taken into custody, and did pay back the full amount he owed the league on the day of his being charged. He will appear in Chautauqua County Court in early November.
Rafael S. Rivas, 45, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely following a motor vehicle crash on Oct. 12. Deputies and EMS were dispatched to the crash, which occurred on Route 5 near the Sherwood Country Club. Upon investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Rivas, was eastbound on Route 5 when he lost control of the vehicle and left the south side of the roadway, where he struck a state Department of Transportation road sign – belonging to a private residence – and then a tree before coming to rest. Rivas was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. He was released on recognizance and will appear in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.
Thu Katray, 23, of Buffalo has been charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. At 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, in the town of Hanover, deputies observed a southbound vehicle on Hanover Road steer into oncoming traffic, almost striking another vehicle head on. The vehicle then over-corrected and drove into a ditch, striking a sign. Through an investigation, it is alleged Katray was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was taken into custody for processing and later released.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PERRYSBURG – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports a one-car motor vehicle accident with injury that occurred Saturday. At approximately 1:54 a.m., a vehicle traveling northbound on North Road in the town of Perrysburg lost control, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway. The vehicle then struck a telephone pole and overturned. The driver and front-seat passenger of the vehicle were flown to ECMC by Starflight and Mercy Flight helicopters. The two rear-seat passengers were transported by North Collins Ambulance and Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Ambulance to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries. Agencies that assisted in the accident were Perrysburg Fire Department, Lawtons Fire Department, Versailles Fire Department, Gowanda Fire Department and Gowanda EMS. Charges are pending as the accident remains under investigation.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Spencer T. Burke, 22, of Mill Street, Stockton, was charged at 8 p.m. on Wednesday with criminal tampering and three counts of petit larceny. Deputies attempted to serve several active warrants on Spencer T. Burke in the town of Stockton. After an investigation, it was determined that Burke fled out the rear of the residence into an overgrown field and swamp. K-9 Drago responded to the residence and conducted an area search. Drago was able to successfully track and locate Burke who was allegedly located dressed in camouflage hiding in thick brush behind the residence. He is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $5,000 case and $10,000 property.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
BUSTI – Matthew D. Hatcher, 17, of 687 Poplar St., Elyria, Ohio, was charged at 11:38 p.m. on Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. A Lakewood-Busti Police Officer was on patrol on Shadyside Road in the town of Busti. The officer observed a vehicle in a ditch and stopped to investigate the accident. Upon speaking with Matthew Hatcher, the vehicle’s operator, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a baggie of marijuana. Hatcher was charged with unlawful possession of a baggie of marijuana. He was charged and will appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP – Michael Joseph Cataldo, 19, of Sugar Grove, Pa., was charged at 9:57 p.m. on Saturday with three counts of Act 64, driving under the influence and corruption of minors. Cataldo’s vehicle was parked along a roadside pull off on big Four Road, just north of Four Wheel Drive, Pine Grove Township, Warren County. Upon initial approach, he was found with a known juvenile, seated in the vehicle. While speaking with them, an odor of marijuana was detected within the vehicle and upon further investigation it was found Cataldo was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. Charges will be filed in North Warren.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – Jessica L. Lawrie, 27, of Irving, was charged at 1:59 p.m. on Tuesday with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, possession of a controlled substance outside original container, failure to signal turn, failure to keep right and no/improper seatbelt. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies, on patrol, observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions on Allegany Road in the town of Hanover. Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator was identified as Jessica L. Lawrie, who was found to be operating the vehicle with suspended New York driving privileges. Further investigation found she was in possession of Suboxone strips, narcotic pill and prescription controlled substances in improper containers. She was arraigned in the town of Hanover Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $1,000 cash/$2,000 property bond.

Jennifer N. Bernard, of 61 Willow Ave., Jamestown, was charged on Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. The Ellicott Police Department responded to a report of a disorderly person and upon investigation it was found to be a domestic incident. Bernard was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail and will appear in the town of Ellicott at a later date.
Matthew E. Logue, of 329 W. Main St., Falconer, was charged on Tuesday with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction breathing. The town of Ellicott Police Department investigated a past-tense domestic incident and Logue was arrested. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail and will appear in the town of Ellicott Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Iris X. Bonilla, 23, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lakewood Wal-Mart after discovering she had stolen $142.80 of DVDs from the store. Ms. Bonilla was located a short distance away and found to be in possession of the property. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in the own of Busti Court on a later date. She was turned over to the Ellicott Police Department.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
RIPLEY – Patrick J. Bowman, 24, of Sandy Lane, Ripley, was charged at 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 13 with third-degree assault. On Oct. 20, deputies arrested Bowman for allegedly attacking another person causing physical injury. He was charged and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
GERRY – Nancy M. Mizer, 55, of Bruyer Road, Stockton, was charged at 3:51 on Saturday with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol combined, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance outside of original container. Deputies patrolling Route 380 in the town of Gerry observed a vehicle being operated by Nancy M. Mizer to be parked on the side of the road with a female outside of the vehicle. Deputies stopped to ensure the female was safe. Through an investigation, Mizer was found to be operating her vehicle while under the influence of both drugs and alcohol. She was taken into custody for processing. A check of her driving record revealed a DWAI conviction in the previous 10 years, making this arrest a felony. She was also found to have a revoked New York state driver’s license for a previous alcohol or drug related offense. She will answer the charges in the Town of Gerry Court at a later date.
STOCKTON – Robert D. Keech, 19, of Barnes Road, Stockton, was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday with no seat belt. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies along with Stockton EMS responded to a single-car motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was found that Robert Keech was operating a vehicle southbound on Cemetery Road and swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. Keech veered off the road and traveled 40 to 50 yards through an open field before hitting a tree head-on. He was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for his injuries and was issued a uniform traffic ticket for no seat belt. He will appear in court at a later date and time.

Steven J. Bonfa, 42, of Jamestown, was charged at 9 p.m. on Monday with third degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers were dispatched to 609 E. Seventh St., for a domestic dispute between a brother and sister. During the investigation it was found that Steven Bonfa punched and broke his sister’s television which had a value exceeding $250, making this a felony. There was a 4-year old child in the room while Bonfa punched the television which caused the child to become upset. Bonfa was taken into custody at the neighbor’s apartment and transported to City Jail.

Todd M. Boardman, 27, of Jamestown was charged Friday with two counts of petit larceny. At 6:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a local shop to investigate a larceny complaint of jewelry. Investigation revealed that Boardman was allegedly stealing jewelry from family members and selling it. He was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Nicole Scott, 31, of Ellicott was charged Friday with petit larceny after police investigated the possible larceny of assorted clothes and toiletries from a residence on Town Line Road. It is alleged that Scott took the items without permission. She will appear in Ellicott Court at later date.
Tyler J. Steppe, of Jamestown was charged Friday with unauthorized use of motor vehicle after police received a complaint from a town resident. After the vehicle was located, investigation revealed that Steppe was allegedly responsible. He was committed to the county jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at later date.
Caleb M. Wickstrom, 24, of Falconer was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment. At 1:19 a.m., police were dispatched to a Falconer residence for a harassment incident. Investigation revealed that Wickstrom had gotten into a argument and physical altercation with his girlfriend. It is alleged that Wickstrom punched the female in the face, pinned her against the house with his forearm to her neck and damaged property belonging to her. He was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Daniel R. Troll, 19, was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs. At 5 a.m., police received a call that a male driver passed out at the wheel of his car. It is alleged that the driver – Troll – was impaired by drugs. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
A 17-year-old female from Jamestown was charged Friday at 5:33 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that she left the Lakewood Wal-Mart without paying for $73.67 worth of merchandise. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Andrew S. Vanguilder, 25, of Jamestown was charged Monday at 11 a.m. with third-degree criminal mischief after an alleged domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend at Wal-Mart. It is alleged that he damaged her car door. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Salena Hare, 22, of Randolph was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 12:25 p.m., Hare was seen allegedly taking items from the Sears department store without paying for them. When confronted by the Sears loss prevention manager, she reportedly left the area in a gray vehicle with North Carolina plates. She was later stopped in Jamestown. She was charged in Busti and will also be facing charges in Jamestown at a later date. She was sent to the county jail with a bail set at $5,000.

POMFRET – Gina Rondenelli, 54, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, unlicensed operator, driving across hazard markings and moving from lane unsafely. The charges stem from an accident that occurred on Oct. 10 in Pomfret where Rondenelli allegedly drove off Route 60 and caused damage to public and private property. She then left the scene. She will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
POMFRET- Matthew T. Hartson, 20, of Cassadaga was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to stop at stop sign, failure to keep right and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. At 9:56 p.m., deputies allegedly observed a southbound motorist fail to stop at a stop sign and failing to keep right in Pomfret. Investigation revealed that the driver – Hartson – was allegedly impaired by drugs. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
Rebecca L. Dorman, 40, of Jamestown was charged on Oct. 9 with fourth-degree welfare fraud, misuse of food stamps and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Dorman failed to report receiving unemployment insurance benefits to the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services. As a result, she reportedly received $1,414.50 in unentitled benefits from July 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2013. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

At 7 p.m. at the Lakewood Wal-Mart, it is alleged that Kennedy conspired with Angel Cobb, 34, to steal $594.09 in merchandise from the store. Kennedy was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date. Cobb was charged with petit larceny, and will also appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.
Melissa M. Faulkner, 28, of Jamestown has been charged with petit larceny after she was caught by Wal-Mart loss prevention trying to steal merchandise valued at $21.49. She was taken into custody at the scene and issued an appearance ticket. She is due in Busti Town Court at a later date.

Maryjo Twoguns, 58, of Lawtons received multiple charges stemming from an incident whereby she committed numerous traffic infractions in the town of Hanover on Thursday. At 8:18 p.m., deputies stopped Twoguns’ vehicle on Route 5/20 and determined that Twoguns was operating her vehicle while impaired by drugs. Two youths under the age of 16 were riding as passengers inside the vehicle with Twoguns, causing the offense to be a felony under Leandra’s Law. Twoguns was processed and was later released with uniform traffic tickets for speed in zone, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, improper or no use of turn signal, driving while ability impaired by drugs and aggravated DWAI drugs with a child age 15 or less in vehicle.
Lionel A. Wescott Jr., 26, of Bemus Point has been charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and harassment. At 2:09 a.m. on Saturday, Wescott allegedly forcibly entered a residence, damaged property and pushed an individual to the ground. He was taken into custody, and was arraigned in Chautauqua County Court before being remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

At 7:20 p.m., deputies located the vehicle and determined that the driver-Przepiora-was intoxicated, police said. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.
STOCKTON-Frank L. Tye, 49, of Dewittville was charged Thursday with speeding, unlawful possession of marijuana, driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 7:24 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle speeding on North Main Street in Stockton. Investigation revealed that the driver-Tye-was driving while impaired by drugs, police said. He also reportedly had a quantity of marijuana and a controlled substance, according to police. He will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

Charles H. Monroe, 22, of Jamestown, was charged at 4:12 a.m. on Thursday with two counts of second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and aggravated family offense. Jamestown Police responded to 235 Fulton St., Jamestown, for a male subject who had threatened to use a knife on another person. Officers arrived on the scene and were given descriptions of a male suspect and a female suspect by the victim. While checking the area, officers were dispatched to 30 Franklin St. for a male with a knife who had just kicked in a door and was using the knife to threaten people in the neighborhood. Upon speaking with the neighbors and victims at this address, officers determined both incidents had the same suspect. While checking the area, officers located the described the suspect and identified him as Charles H. Monroe. It was determined that the female was not an accomplice, just present at the time of the incidents. Monroe was transported to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

Burdette F. Gifford, 80, of Ashville was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment. Matthew L. Gifford, 47, of Ashville was charged with third-degree assault. At 5:30 p.m., it is alleged that both individuals used a shovel to strike a victim following an altercation over a fishing area. Both will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Mark R. Kirkland, 54, of Forestville was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment and resisting arrest. At 8 p.m., deputies responded to Quarry Road in Hanover for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, deputies received a harassment complaint from a victim against Kirkland. It is alleged that Kirkland fled into the woods after the altercation. He was later found by K-9 Drago hiding under some trees. Kirkland reportedly resisted arrest while being taken into custody. He was remanded to the county jail on $2,000 bail and $4,000 property bond.
KIANTONE-Ralph R. Pratt, 50, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and fugitive from justice. At 9:54 p.m., deputies located an occupied vehicle parked on Kiantone Road in Kiantone. Deputies made contact with the driver-Pratt-and determined he was allegedly intoxicated. His driving privileges in New York state were also reportedly suspended. Deputies later received confirmation that Pratt had a valid arrest warrant out of Pennsylvania for a violation of parole. He will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – David A. Brill Jr., 34, of 71 Robinson St., Silver Creek, was charged at 1:25 a.m. Thursday with endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a physical altercation between a man and woman in the village of Silver Creek. Upon speaking to the victim, it was determined that David A. Brill Jr. had physically dragged the victim from her bed and slammed her on the floor in front of a child, police said. A warrant was issued and served shortly after and Brill was taken into custody. He was brought before the village of Silver Creek judge and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail.
SILVER CREEK – Nicholas Cole, 20, of Eagle Street, Dunkirk, was charged at 2:09 p.m. on Wednesday with speed in zone and unlawful possession marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle operated by Nicholas Cole for speeding on Central Avenue, Silver Creek. After a brief investigation, Cole was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued tickets and will answer the charges in Silver Creek court.

Orann R. Woodmansee, 45, of Jamestown was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree assault. Dena M. Woodmansee, 23, of Jamestown was charged Monday with criminal impersonation and making a false punishable statement. At 7:30 p.m., officers responded to 16 Morton St. for a domestic dispute involving several people. Through an investigation, it is alleged that an argument ensued and Orann R. Woodmansee attempted to cut her ex-boyfriend with a knife and caused a laceration to his face. In the process, she reportedly gave her daughter a laceration through recklessness. Her daughter-Dena M. Woodmansee-allegedly gave officers a false written supporting deposition and a false name because she had a warrant out of Lakewood-Busti Police Department. Both are being held at the city jail pending arraignment.
James V. Sanford, 53, of Jamestown was charged Monday with criminal possession of stolen property. At 9:14 p.m., police were dispatched to the scene of an earlier burglary on Ellicott Street. Officers spoke with the victim on scene, who stated that property had been stolen from her home. Through an investigation, police discovered stolen property at 105 Ellicott St., a condemned shouse where Sanford was staying. Officers recovered the property and took Sanford to the city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.

Joseph A. Ziebart, 22, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny and felony criminal possession of a forged instrument. At 2:04 p.m., Ziebart allegedly cashed a fake check worth $491.78 at a Lakewood store. The check was issued from a Pennsylvania business, but investigation revealed that the business never issued the check. The routing number on the check belonged to a person from Tennessee. Ziebart will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Joshuah M. Peterson, 25, of Lakewood was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, use of a portable electronic device, crossing hazard markings and failure to keep right. At 12:02 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue for reportedly crossing the center lines of the highway and hazard markings multiple times. Investigation revealed that the driver-Peterson-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Case, 29, were all charged with third-degree criminal trespass after an investigation of a trespass complain on the Western New York-Pennsylvania Railroad. The three allegedly trespassed on the property and attempted to interfere with railroad employees doing maintenance on the tracks. They will appear in Great Valley Court on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.

Adam C. Paxton, 34, of Jamestown was charged Monday with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 1:59 a.m., officers pulled over a motorcycle in the parking lot of Kwik Fill. Further investigation determined that the driver-Paxton-was allegedly intoxicated and his driving privileges had been revoked from a previous DWI, police said. He was transported to the city jail without incident. A quantity of marijuana was found on him, according to police.

ELLICOTT – Christopher A. Marker, 29, of Falconer was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. At 4:30 a.m., police responded to a domestic incident in which a female was allegedly screaming at a Falconer address. Investigation revealed that Marker allegedly pushed the female down in front of two young children, police said. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – April L. Volpe, 44, of Jamestown was charged on Oct. 5 with petit larceny. Volpe was employed by Arrow Mart in Lakewood. It is alleged that she opened the store for business and had to count the cash drops from the previous day. She initially stated that a cash drop worth $100 was missing. Investigation revealed that she had allegedly taken the $100 for her own personal use, police said. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Anthony Querrieo, 28, of Jamestown received multiple charges following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 4:55 a.m., an officer on patrol in Busti observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed and stopped the vehicle. Upon further investigation, Querrieo, identified as the driver, was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, and his privileges to operate a motor vehicle in New York state were found to be suspended. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, speed in zone and aggravated unlicensed operator. Querrieo will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Michael R. Jaeckle, of Jamestown was charged Friday with petit larceny after he was taken into custody for stealing $469.96 in merchandise from Sears in Lakewood. Jaeckle was released from the scene with an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear back in Busti Town Court at a later date.

Bruce R. Colvenbach, 25, of South Dayton received multiple charges Saturday following a traffic stop occurring in the town of Arkwright. At 2:20 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 83 for an observed traffic infraction. Investigation found the operator of the vehicle, Colvenbach, to be intoxicated. Colvenbach was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Arkwright Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Charges are pending following a one-vehicle, personal injury accident occurring in Mayville on Saturday. According to a sheriff’s report, a vehicle driven by Gage Milliman, 21, of Mayville was traveling west on Ellicott Road at a high rate of speed when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree broad side. Milliman was flown to Hamot Medical Center in Erie via Stat MedEvac Helicopter. The vehicle was also carrying three passengers, each of whom were transported to regional medical centers for medical attention. Garth Blanchard, 22, of Mayville was taken by Brocton Ambulance to Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk. Keri Walawender, 24, was flown by Starflight to Hamot Medical Center. Brady Raynor was taken from the scene and flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC in Buffalo. Brocton Fire Department was assisted by Portland and Stockton fire departments, as well as Alstar Ambulance. An investigation is continuing, and charges are pending against Milliman.

Edwin Sanchez Jr., 35, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment following a domestic incident occurring Sunday morning. At 3 a.m., officers responded to 8 Hall Ave., where it was found that Sanchez had broken a victim’s cellphone and poured a large amount of water on the victim – which served no legitimate purpose. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.

SILVER CREEK – Tanya M. Siragusa, 37, of 15 Lafayette St., Silver Creek, was charged at 2:09 p.m. on Thursday with third-degree grand larceny. Deputies performed a warrant check on Siragusa and upon investigation, deputies located her in her home in the village. She is alleged to have taken an amount of money from a local social club during her time as an employee with the organization. Siragusa was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $5,000/$10,000 bail and is to appear in the village of Silver Creek Court at a later time and date.

Juan P. Berrios, 21, of Jamestown was charged at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, two counts of aggravated family offense and a probation warrant. Jamestown Police officers responded to 37 W. 13th St. in an attempt to serve a probation warrant on Juan Berrios. While officers were there, it was learned that Berrios had an order of protection to stay away from two victims inside the house. Berrios was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He is being held pending arraignment.
Jeney M.F.S. Johnson, 36, of Jamestown was charged at 1:51 a.m. on Friday with no/inadequate headlamps, uninspected motor vehicle, refusal of a breath screening test and driving while intoxicated. Jamestown Police officers observed a vehicle traveling on Harrison Street with only one working headlight. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and spoke with the operator, Jeney M.F.S. Johnson, who allegedly appeared intoxicated. Officers asked Johnson to perform standardized field sobriety tests in which she failed, police said. She was placed under arrest and transported to the City Jail. While at the jail, she again refused to take a breath test to determine the alcohol content of her blood.

VILLENOVA – James A. Baldwin, 40, of Cherry Creek, was charged on Wednesday with an expired inspection sticker, possession of marijuana and no seatbelt. At a traffic stop on South Hill Road in Villenova, troopers detected a strong odor of marijuana. After Baldwin and his vehicle were searched, it was found Baldwin was in possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in the town of Villenova Court and released.
CHERRY CREEK – Bernie N. Carter, 38, of Lockport and Justin G. Jarocinski, 32, of Delevan, were charged on Wednesday with misdemeanor criminal trespass. A Cherry Creek homeowner reported seeing the two leave her residence in a blue van and recognized the men as door to door salesmen she had dealt with three weeks earlier. After investigating the report, state police, assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, located the men. They will return to Cherry Creek Court.

Brandon L. Propheter, 18, Andrew D. Hinman, 18, and a 17-year-old male, all of Jamestown, were charged Thursday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and littering. At 2 a.m., police responded to Ellis Avenue for caution tape being placed across the roadway that had to be picked up by police. Upon arrival a second time, police located three suspects allegedly attempting to put caution tape across the roadway. When police attempted to stop them, they took off running between houses. With the assistance of a K-9 unit, police located the suspects hiding behind a garage. They were taken to the city jail in lieu of bail.

Woloszyn, 37, of Dunkirk was charged Wednesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 7:20 p.m., officers took Woloszyn into custody at his Dunkirk residence. His arrest warrant is the result of an active investigation by the task force. It is alleged that Woloszyn sold quantities of methamphetamine to agents of the task force on numerous occasions in Dunkirk. He reportedly had a quantity of methamphetamine on him during his arrest. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

Alexander D. Jean-Joseph, 23, of Jamestown was charged Monday with third-degree robbery and petit larceny. At 5:38 p.m., officers responded to 525 Falconer St. at the JCC gym for a larceny complaint. Upon arrival, the officers spoke with a victim and witnesses who said that Jean-Joseph allegedly stole the victim’s gloves. Investigation determined that he allegedly did so. Jean-Joseph was sent to the city jail without incident.

Melissa M. Faulkner, 28, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. At 1 p.m., Faulkner was allegedly observed leaving Sears without paying for two pairs of shoes. She will appear in Busti Court on Oct. 21.

PORTLAND – Samantha S. Kellogg, 25, of Brocton was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and unregistered motor vehicle. At 1 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Route 5 in Portland. Investigation revealed that Kellogg allegedly had a small quantity of marijuana. She will appear in Portland Court at a later date.

Carl E. Johnson, 59, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and unlicensed operator. At 4:50 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle driving in the wrong direction on East Fourth Street and Prendergast Avenue. They located a 2006 Ford at the intersection of East Fourth Street and Prendergast Avenue. The driver-Johnson-was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail and is being held without bail.
Willie Grace, 67, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal contempt. At 3:45 p.m., police responded to a Newland Avenue address for a reported larceny involving a female victim. Investigation revealed that Grace allegedly entered the victim’s residence without her permission and stole her cellphone when she tried to exit the residence. The victim also reportedly had a valid order of protection against Grace. Officers took Grace into custody at the residence. He was taken to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Mark Beers, 22, of Falconer was charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing from the Kmart on Fairmount Avenue multiple times. It is alleged that Beers – an employee at the store – used numerous methods to fraudulently take about $850 worth of merchandise and store credit from the store. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Benjamin R. Biehert, 26, of Lakewood was charged Friday with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 1:10 a.m., an officer pulled over a vehicle on Southwestern Drive that was repeatedly crossing the center divider. The driver-Biehert-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Kelsey J. Blakeslee, 18, of Union City, Pennsylvania, was charged Friday at 4:30 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that Blakeslee exited the Sears at the Chautauqua Mall with $103.96 worth of merchandise without paying for it. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Craig S. Brzostowski, 47, of East Aurora was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. At 11:57 p.m., police pulled over a speedin vehicle on East Fairmount Avenue. The driver – Brzostowski – was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Andrea D. Waterman, 43, of Lawtons was charged Saturday with trespass, disorderly conduct and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Cindy A. Becker, 59, of Irving was charged Saturday with trespass and disorderly conduct. At 7:19 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a business on Alleghany Road in Hanover for two disorderly people. Upon arrival, they found two women allegedly being disorderly and who refused to leave the establishment. They were both arraigned in Hanover Court and committed to the county jail.
RIPLEY – Brett M. Pedrico 56, of Ripley was charged Saturday at 10:45 a.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that Pedrico stole a cross from the front yard of the Ripley Methodist Church on Oct. 4. The cross was later recovered. Pedrico will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Shane S. Foster, 26, of Westfield was charged Saturday with passing a red signal, driving while ability impaired with drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:40 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for passing a red signal on Route 60 in Dunkirk. The driver – Foster – was allegedly impaired by drugs. He also reported had a quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Shannon V. Pagan, 30, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with blood alcohol content on .08 percent or higher. At 1:59 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for moving from its lane unsafely on Route 60 in Dunkirk. The driver – Pagan – was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.
SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
SALAMANCA – Otis D. Williams Jr., 27, and Brittany M. Copeland, 24, both of Buffalo, were charged Thursday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges were placed after a small amount of crack cocaine was found in the defendants’ vehicle during a traffic stop by the Salamanca Police Department and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Both were assisted by the New York State Police. The defendants were held at the Salamanca Police Department.

Charles F. Haley, 42, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated unlicensed operation after a traffic stop on Tiffany Street in Jamestown. Troopers observed a demolition derby car being driven on Tiffany Street with numerous violations, including no license plates and no headlights. After interviewing the driver -Haley – police administered field tests and then placed him under arrest for DWI. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .16 percent was obtained. A computer check also showed Haley had a revoked license and a prior DWI arrest. He will appear in city court at a later date.
ELLERY – Ryan C. Fitzpatrick, 21, of Jamestown was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for speeding on Route 430 in Ellery. Police detected a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle and Fitzpatrick reportedly had approximately 13 grams of marijuana and a marijuana grinder. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

Patricia L. Wright, 24, of Jamestown was charged Thursday at 12 p.m. with petit larceny. Wal-Mart loss prevention and police investigated some other larcenies that occurred at the store and found Wright to have allegedly committed a past larceny from the store. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Timothy S. Parinella, 39, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with issuing a bad check and fourth-degree felony grand larceny. In July, Parinella allegedly went into Don’s Car Wash and cashed two checks valued at more than $2,000 each. He reportedly did this knowing he didn’t have any funds in his bank account. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Jared L. McMaster, 19, of Ashville was charged on Sept. 25 with driving while ability impaired with drugs, speed in zone, passing in a no passing zone and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:27 p.m., police observed a driver crossing the double solid lines and pass two other vehicles while traveling at 60 mph in a 30 mph speed zone. Deputies pulled over the vehicle and determined that the driver – McMaster – was allegedly impaired by drugs. He was also reportedly in possession of marijuana wax. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

A 17-year-old female, from Jamestown, turned herself into the police Tuesday on a trespass warrant out of Busti Court. It is alleged that the female was on Wal-Mart property on Sept. 14 after previously being banned from all Wal-Mart properties. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Brian A. Gibbs, 44, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving the wrong way on a one-way street, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and felony DWI. At 1:07 a.m., police observed a vehicle make an alleged traffic infraction. The driver-Gibbs-was allegedly intoxicated. Investigation revealed that he had a prior DWI conviction in the last 10 years.

Justin L. Bimber, 32, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fifth-degree welfare fraud, misuse of food stamps and offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Bimber failed to report receiving unemployment insurance benefits to the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services. As a result of this unreported income, Bimber received $1,714 in unentitled benefits from July 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2013. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
RANDOLPH – Patrick P. Phillips, 33, of Dunkirk was arrested Monday on a Family Court warrant. He was remanded to the county jail with a bail of $5,000.
MANSFIELD – Peter J. Timkey, 59, of Ellicottville was charged on Sept. 25 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation along with various vehicle and traffic infractions. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500.

Jaime L. Condella, 37, of Frewsburg was charged Monday at 7:23 p.m. with petit larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. The merchandise totalled $161.49. Condella will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Joseph M. Ryan, 30, of Silver Creek was charged Tuesday with second-degree reckless endangerment. At 11:03 a.m., deputies responded to a disorderly person complaint in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Ryan became disorderly and attempted to interfere with the repossession of a vehicle. He allegedly entered the vehicle while it was in tow and began spinning the tires in an attempt to remove the vehicle from the flatbed tow truck. The vehicle reportedly got lodged off the side of the truck. The action allegedly caused damage to the tow truck and endangered the well-being of those on the scene. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – A 17-year-old youth was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 1:03 p.m., deputies arrived at a Silver Creek address, searching for a youth who had been missing from school. Deputies found the youth inside the residence where he allegedly had marijuana. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Bradley A. Brunea, 53, of Hanover was charged Monday with trespassing. At 1:40 a.m., deputies responded to a residence in Hanover for reports of a man trespassing. It is alleged that Brunea trespassed onto a person’s property after being advised multiple times to stay away. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

GERRY-Daric W. Harris, 49, and Edward Maddox Jr., 56, both of Jamestown, were charged on Sept. 24 with first-degree possession of a forged instrument. A two month investigation determined that both individuals allegedly passed counterfeit fifty dollar bills at a local convenience store in Gerry. They were arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail each.
