Flyers Compete In Lucky Stars Invitational

Flyers competitive gymnasts recently competed in The Lucky Stars Invitational at Jamestown Community College.

Flyers Xcel Platinum team captured a third-place team banner and the Level 2 team captured second place.

Leading the Xcel Platinums in the Junior age group was McKenna Hart, who grabbed second on vault (9.15), first on bars (9.4), eighth on beam (8.8), sixth on floor (9.1) and second in all-around (36.45). Claire Thompson earned second on beam (9.225).

In the Senior age group, Olivia Swanson grabbed third on vault (9.0) and second on floor (9.625). Sophie Johnson earned third on bars (9.2).

Leading the Level 2s was Amelia Garland in the Senior A age group. She captured fifth on vault (9.15), second on bars (9.5), second on beam (9.6), third on floor (9.25) and third in all-around (37.50). Delaney Yoder in the Junior A age group grabbed fifth on vault (8.9), fourth on bars (9.275), first on beam (9.4) and third in all-around (36.275). Lilly Schnars was first on bars (9.65), second on beam (9.7) and fourth in all-around (37.25), and Alicia Ritter captured third on bars (9.55) and fifth in all-around (37.125) in the Junior B age group.

At Level 3 in the Senior age group, Madison Martin captured fourth on floor (9.35) and fourth in all-around (36.725). Genevieve Frisbee grabbed third on beam (9.2) and Leilah Walters was fifth on vault (9.2). In the Junior B age group, Annabelle Herman earned fourth on bars (9.2), second on floor (9.2) and fifth in all-around (35.20). Sophia McChesney grabbed third on beam (9.15).

At Level 4 Senior, Olivia Kehrli grabbed third on vault (9.3), third on bars (9.4), third on floor (9.25) and fourth in all-around (36.35). In the child B age group, Sloane Siggins earned fourth on vault (8.95), second on bars (9.4), first on floor (9.325) and second in all-around (36.05).

At Level 6, Avery Armella captured third on bars (9.35) and sixth in all-around (36.175).

In Xcel Bronze, Lennox Hale captured fifth on vault (9.0), fifth on bars (8.75), sixth on beam (8.6), fourth on floor (9.15) and sixth in all-around (35.50). Mckena Lundsten earned first on vault (9.5).

At Xcel Silver, Everly Bradley captured second on bars (9.4), third on floor (9.375) and third in all-around (36.725). Anastazia Morris grabbed first on floor (9.6), Molly King was second on vault (9.2) and Cecelia Wallace took fifth on beam (9.25).

Flyers gymnasts also recently traveled to Sandusky, Ohio for the Luau in Leo’s gymnastics Invitational. There were many teams in attendance from several states.

In Xcel Platinum, Swanson captured second on vault (9.3), second on bars (8.95), third on beam (8.9), second on floor (9.575) and second in all-around (36.725). Johnson was fourth on vault (8.85), first on bars (9.25) and fourth in all-around (35.10).

At Level 6 Kamille Garza grabbed fifth on bars (8.85), fourth on beam (9.375) and fifth in all-around (36.375).

In Level 4, Siggins captured fifth on bars (9.25), fourth on beam (9.425), fifth on floor (9.25) and sixth in all-around (37.125). Brynn Butzer was third on beam (9.225) and fifth on floor (9.05). Kehrli took fifth on beam (9.025) and third on floor (9.35).
