CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CARROLTON – Janine L. Heitzinger, 30, of Olean, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on Route 417 in the Town of Carrolton. According to police, Heitzinger was stopped for speeding, and upon further investigation, it was found her license was allegedly suspended. She was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.

OLEAN – Anthony J. Sherlock, 25, of Olean, was taken into custody on a violation of probation warrant out of Olean City Court. Sherlock was turned over to the Olean Police Department to await arraignment.

OLEAN – Justin T. Spencer, 34, of Olean, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Olean on Tuesday afternoon. Spencer had several outstanding warrants and was currently on the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Top 10 Most Wanted, police said. He was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail and will be in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

DUNKIRK – Angel T. Rivas, 37, of Dunkirk, was charged with petit larceny at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Pomfret. He was issued an appearance ticket.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Nicholas J. Buziak, 22, of Jamestown, was charged at 11:36 p.m. on Tuesday with a bench warrant from Jamestown City Court, inadequate headlights, inadequate tail lights, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. A vehicle was observed on Institute Street at Harrison Street with inadequate headlights and no tail lights, police said. The vehicle was stopped in the parking lot of CVS and Buziak was observed operating the vehicle. He was found to have a suspended New York state driver’s license and a bench warrant out of the Jamestown City Court. He was transported to the Jamestown Police Department and found to be intoxicated, police said. He will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK – Yaneleen Morales, 20, of Dunkirk, was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, misuse of SNAP/food stamp benefits and second-degree offering a false instrument for filing on Wednesday. It is alleged Morales failed to report employment/income for a subject who was living with her and a common child to the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services. From June 1 through July 31 of last year, Morales received $1,514.50 of benefits to which she wasn’t entitled due to the unreported income, police said. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown city court.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA – Joshua W. Koleta, 20, of 130 Wilson St., Salamanca, was charged at 2 a.m. on Monday with third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that Koleta was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in the town of Salamanca. He punched his girlfriend several times in the face and arms, causing physical injury, police said. During the altercation, Koleta allegedly took his girlfriend’s cellphone, which prevented her from calling 911. Koleta was processed and arraigned in the town of Great Valley Court. Bail was set at $1,000 cash, and he is due back in court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS INDIAN RESERVATION – James A. Wheat, 24, of Perrysburg, was charged with seventh-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 18 on Route 438 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. He was issued an appearance ticket.

CHERRY CREEK – Frank N. Cartalano, 57, of Cherry Creek, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 11:11 p.m. Sunday in the town of Cherry Creek. He was released to a third party.

ELLICOTT – Ralph E. Boughton, 39, of Jamestown, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and driving while intoxicated Tuesday at 4 p.m. on Route 60 in the town of Ellicott. He was issued an appearance ticket.

ELLICOTT – Victor J. Cardinale, 22, of Bemus Point, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated at 3:55 a.m. Saturday in the town of Ellicott. He was issued an appearance ticket.

ELLICOTT – Shawn M. Tuller, 24, of Falconer, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument at 8:28 a.m. Sept. 19 in the town of Ellicott. He was issued an appearance ticket.

FREDONIA – David J. Bielat, 56, of Fredonia, was charged with first-degree operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs at 10:15 p.m. Sept. 19 in the village of Fredonia. He was released to a third party.

HANOVER – David Harrison, 40, of Irving, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday in the town of Hanover. He was issued an appearance ticket.

POLAND – Dustin G. Raynor, 24, of Bemus Point, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 8:48 p.m. Sunday on Mudcreek Road in the town of Poland. He was issued an appearance ticket.

SHERIDAN – Gregory D. Shain, 31, of Forestville, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment Sunday at 4:34 p.m. in the town of Sheridan. He was issued an appearance ticket.

PENNSYLVANIA

STATE POLICE

WARREN COUNTY – A 15-year-old male allegedly took a vehicle without consent and drove carelessly on Buena Vista Boulevard in Pleasant Township on Friday. The male also allegedly exposed himself in public, while urinating in the middle of the road. Two female victims also reported the 15-year-old approached them on separate occasions and subjected them to indecent contact. The investigation is continuing, police said.

TOWN OF ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Trina L. Harmonson-Rickard, 45, of 2084 County Road 18, Wellsville was taken into custody on an arrest warrant. She is accused of stealing merchandise from an Ellicott business without paying. She was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Harry J. Stauffer, 26, of Jamestown was charged at 1:19 a.m. on Tuesday with speeding in zone and second-degree criminal contempt. A Jamestown Police Officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on North Main Street near West Third Street for speeding. The driver identified himself as Stauffer who was with one passenger. It was discovered by police that the passenger in Stauffer’s vehicle has a valid order of protection for Stauffer to stay away from her issued by Jamestown City Court. Stauffer was transported to the City Jail where he is awaiting arraignment.

Laval A. Johnson, 29, of Jamestown was charged at 4:25 a.m. on Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers were dispatched to 205 Barrett Ave. for a report of a subject who kicked in a back door. Upon arrival it was determined that Johnson did kick in the door to the residence, causing damage to the door and door frame. He was located a short distance away, taken into custody and transported to the city jail, without incident. Johnson was also charged for outstanding warrants he had out of the city of Jamestown.

John J. Lisciandro, 51, of Jamestown, was charged at 3:45 p.m. on Friday with second-degree assault and second-degree menacing. Officers responded to the area of 511 N. Main St. for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male victim and several witnesses and determined that the victim had been struck several times with a hammer by Lisciandro. He was taken into custody and transported to the city jail without incident. The male victim was transported to WCA Hospital by Alstar for treatment of his injuries.

A 17-year-old male, of Jamestown, was charged at 1:27 a.m. on Saturday with fourth-degree grand larceny, endangering the welfare of a child, unlicensed operator and no headlights. Jamestown Police Department officers stopped a 1987 Mercedes-Benz for driving without headlights. After speaking to the 17-year old male, it was learned that the male stole the vehicle from an address on Thayer Street. There was also a 14-year-old female passenger in the vehicle. The 17-year-old male was taken into custody and transported to city jail without incident and charged. He is being held pending arraignment.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE At WARREN

Warren State Police are currently looking for a suspect who caused damage to a metal fence post on the Warren Electric Cooperative, Irvine Run Substation, Irvine Run Road, Brokenstraw Township, Warren at 4:17 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the State Police at Warren. Damage is estimated at $1,800.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Nicholas J. Dean, 23, of Jamestown was charged at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with petit larceny after attempting to leave Wal-Mart without paying for merchandise. Dean was stopped by a Wal-Mart asset protection before leaving the store with said merchandise. He was found to be in possession of a backup camera which was valued at $98. Dean was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – Michael A. Bova, 20, of 31 McClurg St., Westfield, was charged at 1:24 p.m. on Saturday with following too close. He was eastbound on West Fairmount Avenue and struck a vehicle driven by William C. Carlson, 66, of 11606 Sparks Road, Freedom, N.Y., which then struck a vehicle driven by Andre N. Fortier, 72, of 1576 Bella Cruz, The Villages, Fla. Carlson was transported to WCA Hospital by the Lakewood Fire Department.

BUSTI – Timothy A. Sprague, 47, of 125 Barrett Ave., Jamestown, was charged at 12:26 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, .18 percent or higher, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to keep right, failure to stop at a stop sign and unlicensed operator first. A Lakewood-Busti Police Officer was on patrol on Forest Avenue Extension in the town of Busti. He observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at Garfield Road and Forest Avenue Extension and failure to keep right on the roadway. The police officer pulled the vehicle over for infractions and found it was operated by Timothy A. Sprague who was intoxicated and his privileges to operate a motor vehicle in New York State were suspended. Upon further investigation, he was also found to have a warrant out of the city of Jamestown. Sprague was charged and arraigned in the town of Busti. Bail was set.

RANDOLPH – Jeffrey S. Mighells, 55, of 2590 Vollentine Road, Randolph, was charged at 11:05 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15 with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and speed not reasonable. Patrol responded to a one car rollover accident on Bowen Road in the town of Randolph. Mighells was processed and released on appearance tickets. He is due back in the town of Randolph Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Kevin J. Nicander, 19, of Derby, N.Y., was charged at 2:07 a.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, speed in zone 57/40 and window tint. Sheriff’s patrol observed a speeding motorist traveling east on Route 20 in the town of Pomfret. The vehicle was stopped and the operator was identified as Nicander. Following an investigation, Nicander was charged, processed and released to a sober third party. He will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

  • POMFRET – James M. Callahan, 61, of Fredonia, was charged at 9:37 p.m. on Sunday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se. Sheriff’s Deputies on patrol on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret observed a speeding motorist. Upon stopping the vehicle Callahan was identified as its operator. Through an investigation, deputies found he was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was processed and later released with traffic tickets. Callahan will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
  • POMFRET – Angel A. Alvarez-Colon, 25, of Bradenton, Fla., was charged at 12:02 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and failure to keep right. Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Porter Avenue in Pomfret for failure to keep right and Alvarex-Colon was identified as the operator. Following an investigation, he was charged and released to a sober third party. He will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
  • POMFRET – Kristen M. Maynard, 21, of Cherry Creek, was charged at 2:18 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and failure to signal turn. Sheriff’s patrol stopped a vehicle for failing to signal a turn from Porter Road onto Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. The operator was identified as Maynard. Following an investigation she was taken into custody, charged and released to a sober third party. She will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE

DEPARTMENT

ELLICOTT – Jaime L. Condella, 36, of 12529 Bone Run Road, Frewsburg, was charged on Sunday with unlawful second-degree harassment, first-degree harassment and first-degree criminal contempt. The Ellicott Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at a local motel between Condella and a female victim. During the investigation, Condella struck the female victim and refused to allow her to leave the location. Police took Condella into custody and before Ellicott Town Justice for arraignment. Several hours later, Ellicott police responded to the hotel again as Condella had returned to that location and was trying to gain entry into the room of the female victim. He made threats of bodily harm to the victim even after he had been issued an order of protection to stay away from her. He was taken into custody, arraigned before an Ellicott judge and held in the Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Christopher Stevens, 37, and Steven Riley, 45, both of Jamestown, were charged at 8 p.m. on Saturday with petit larceny. Officers responded to the 7-Eleven Convenience Store at 340 Allen St. for a shoplifting complaint. It was reported that two males left the store without paying for some merchandise. Officers reviewed the video surveillance and were able to locate the suspects. They were transported to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

Jill M. Saxton, 22, of Jamestown, was charged at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday with improper right turn at an intersection, driving while intoxicated, and driving with .08 of 1 percent or more of alcohol. A vehicle was observed failing to keep right as it turned off South Main Street onto Harrison Street. The vehicle was stopped and Saxton was found to be operating it in an intoxicated condition. Saxton was charged and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

CONEWANGO – Susan A. English, 46, of Randolph was charged at 9:27 p.m. with driving while intoxicated, DWI over .08 percent, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane, after a traffic stop on Elm Creek Road in the town of Conewango. She was processed and released on appearance tickets and is due back in the Town of Conewango Court at a later date.

GREAT VALLEY – Dane D. Ellis of Salamanca was charged at 8 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree assault. The charges stemmed from an incident in which Ellis was involved in a physical altercation with another male at a residence in the town of Great Valley. He was apprehended and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date and time.

SALAMANCA – Jocelyn K. Cook, 20, of Salamanca was charged at 6 p.m. on Monday with second-degree harassment. She was apprehended and taken before the Town of Salamanca Court for arraignment, was released on her own recognizance and will appear back in court at a later date and time.

GREAT VALLEY – Rene J. Leblanc was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Monday with third-degree menacing. The charges stemmed from an incident in which he was involved in a physical altercation with another male at a residence in the town of Great Valley. Leblanc was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date and time.

ELLERY – Dylan T. Graziano, 21, of Maple Springs was charged at 2:45 a.m. on Friday with third-degree criminal mischief. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a disorderly male subject damaging property of another person. Following an investigation, deputies found that Graziano intentionally destroyed property of another person in excess of $250. He was arraigned in the Town of Ellery Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $1,000 or $2,000 property bond.

DEPARTMENT

Derek L. McCance, 27, of 210 N. Work St., Falconer, was charged at 3:17 a.m. on Friday with false personation, failure to keep right and unlicensed operator. Jamestown Police Department officers were on a traffic stop on Stowe Street, near Falconer Street, when they heard a person scream for help as a green Jeep drove by. Officers followed the jeep and effected a traffic stop near the intersection of Falconer Street at Charlotte Avenue. Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver who identified himself as Derrick L. McCane. Further investigation revealed that the driver’s actual name was McCance and that he misrepresented his information due to the fact that he had an expired driver’s license and probation warrants out of Pennsylvania. McCance was pleased into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was charged.

Colleen S. Olmstead, 35, of Jamestown, was charged at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday with failure to keep right, no/improper signal and driving while intoxicated. A vehicle was observed traveling south and failing to keep right on Maple Street. The vehicle turned off Maple Street onto Camp Street without signaling its turn. The vehicle was stopped on Walnut Street at Camp Street and Olmstead was found to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She was charged and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – A 17-year-old male youth was charged at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8 with trespassing. Deputies investigated an alleged trespass complaint that occurred on Alleghany Road in the town of Hanover. It was later determined that the youth went onto the complainant’s property without consent. The youth was issued an appearance ticket to answer to the charge at the Town of Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Rudy J. Damonti, 31, of 105 W. Main St. Ripley, was charged at 7 p.m. on Wednesday with second-degree harassment. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Friday, Sept. 13 in the town of Ripley where Damonti struck a female in the face with a closed fist. He will appear in court on a later date to answer to the charge.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ryan C. Snow, 31, was charged at 10:11 p.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to signal turn and unsafe start. Jamestown Police Department patrol observed a vehicle fail to stop at the intersection of Hazeltine Avenue and Baker Street. The vehicle then accelerated at a high rate of speed west on Newland Avenue. Officers were able to stop the vehicle on Newland Avenue at City View Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Snow and upon investivation he was found to be intoxicated. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and charged.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – Dustin M. Newman, 24, of 133 Hallock St., Jamestown, was charged at 10 a.m. on Thursday with a bench warrant served and failure to appear in the Town of Busti Court on an original charge of petit larceny. He was arraigned and sent to the county jail with $1,000 bail.

LAKEWOOD – Nicholas N. Elkovitch, 23, of 1162 W. 32nd St., Erie, was charged at 3:50 a.m. on Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and speed in zone. A Lakewood-Busti Police Officer was on patrol on West Fairmount Avenue in the village of Lakewood. The officer observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed for zone and stopped the vehicle. While speaking with the operator, Elkovitch, he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and upon further investigation his privilege to operate a motor vehicle in New York state was found to be suspended. Elkovitch will appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – Jorge L. Rivera, 30, of Jamestown, was charged at 2 p.m. on Thursday with failure to pay a fine. A bench warrant was served out of the town of Busti. After paying the fine, he was released.

EAST OTTO – Harold H. Izard, 74, of Hammond Hill Road, East Otto, was charged at 1:50 p.m. Saturday with issuing a bad check. He was charged on a warrant out of the town of Little Valley, was arraigned and released. Izard is due back in court on a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE – Nicholas A. Lombardo, 29, of Oakmont, Pa., was charged at 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated and unsafe starting. Sheriff’s patrol observed a vehicle exiting the Kwik Fill parking lot on Water Street in Mayville. The vehicle exited the lot without stopping before entering the roadway and squealed tires while rapidly accelerating. The vehicle was stopped and the operator was identified as Lombardo. Following an investigation, he was taken into custody, charged and later released to appear in Chautauqua Town Court on a future date.

NORTH HARMONY – Andrew J. Sheldon, 27, of 2181 Brooks St., Ashville, was charged at 10:13 p.m. on Tuesday with petit larceny. Sheldon stole a Craftsman riding lawnmower from his former residence. He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Town of North Harmony Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Kathie M. Trippi, 43, of Dunkirk was charged at 11:58 p.m. on Tuesday with failure to keep right, unlicensed operator and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Sheriff’s Deputies on patrol on Route 20 in the town of Pomfret observed a westbound vehicle cross the center line of the roadway into the eastbound land of traffic. The vehicle was stopped and Trippi was identified as the operator. Through an investigation, deputies found that Trippi’s driver’s license was suspended on several different occasions. She was take into custody and later arraigned in the Town of Pomfret Court where bail was set at $1,000 cash/$2,000 property bond. She did post bail to the Town of Pomfret Court and was released. She will appear in the Town of Pomfret Court at a later date to further answer the charges.

HARMONY – Kelly L. Davis, 35, of 941 Blockville Road, Ashville, was charged at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 with petit larceny. Davis allegedly stole money from a produce stand located at 5626 Niobe Road, town of Harmony. She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Town of Harmony Court at a later date and time.

CHAUTAUQUA – William E. Ostagen, 43, of Maple Street, Mayville, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Tuesday. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection at the Snow Ridge Motel on Route 394 at 7:11 p.m. An investigation discovered that Ostagen violated a stay-away order by having contact with an individual. He was taken into custody without incident and arraigned in Town of Chautauqua Court. Ostagen was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500 bail and will appear in court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Charles A. Strong Sr., 52, of 239 Newton Ave., Jamestown, was charged at 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday with first-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Jamestown Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence for a report of an intoxicated male that was fighting with the complainant. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the caller who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Charles A. Strong Sr., had arrived shortly before she called 911 and that he was very upset with her. The caller stated that Strong had started arguing with her and that he became upset, violent and ended up braking numerous things in her apartment. At one point, the caller stated that Strong picked up a wooden chair and threatened her with bodily harm. While investigating the incident, officers learned that the caller had a valid order of protection for Strong to stay away from her. Strong was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was charged.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Steven A. Germonto, 30, of Sheffield, was charged at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the Wal-Mart parking lot. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Eric M. Chapman, 19, of 85 Fredrick Blvd., Jamestown, W.E. and Matthew W. Seekins, 20, of Houston Avenue, Jamestown were charged at 10:02 p.m. on Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Chapman was also charged with loud exhaust. Lakewood-Busti Police Officers were on patrol on East Terrace Avenue in the village of Lakewood. An officer observed a vehicle with loud exhaust and stopped it. Upon further investigation, Chapman and Seekins were found to be in possession of marijuana.?They were charged and will appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date to answer the charges.

BUSTI – Mason A. Riggle, 38, of Ashville was charged at 12:09 a.m. with driving while intoxicated and obstruction of governmental administration. Riggle led Lakewood-Busti Police on a foot pursuit during a traffic stop, fled into a backyard of a residence and furthermore into an overgrown field before being apprehended. He was transported to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department where he was issued appearance tickets and released. Riggle is due back in court Sept. 26.

Kenneth Alexander, 41, of Gowanda was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unsafe backing Friday. According to police, deputies were on patrol on Route 20 in Hanover when they saw a vehicle off the highway in a ditch. Alexander was the operator of the vehicle and after investigation it was discovered Alexander was attempting to turn the vehicle around in the highway when he backed off the highway into the ditch. Alexander was then found to be allegedly intoxicated and was charged.

Paul Deland, 44, of South Dayton was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to dim high-beam lights Saturday. According to police, deputies stopped a vehicle on Webster Road in Pomfret after it failed to dim its high-beam lights to oncoming traffic. Deland was operating the vehicle and after further investigation it was allegedly found Deland was intoxicated.

Georgianna Orcutt, 61, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right Sunday. According to police, deputies observed a vehicle failing to keep right on Waldorff Road in Dunkirk. The vehicle was then stopped, Orcutt was found to be driving and was then charged.

Thomas D. Maher, 29, of Big Tree Road was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated/Leandra’s Law Sunday. According to police, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle to be driving all over the highway. The vehicle was located on Route 60 in Gerry. After an investigation, Maher was charged and taken into custody. Maher had a 6-year-old child as a passenger in the vehicle making the charge a felony under Leandra’s Law.

Frank M. Joos, 59, of Ripley was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlicensed operation and inadequate muffler Sunday. According to police, deputies observed a vehicle operating with a discernibly loud and leaking exhaust system. The operator identified himself as Joos and an investigation led to the charges.

Francisco Otero, 47, of Erie, Pa., was charged with speeding, third-degree aggravated unauthorized operation, open container of alcohol in a vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child; and Luzbel Curry, 44, of Erie, Pa., was charged with open container of alcohol in a vehicle and endanger the welfare of a child Sunday. According to police, Otero was stopped for speeding. It was found he had a suspended state driving privileges for unanswered tickets in the area. During the investigation, Otero and Curry were found to have open containers of alcohol, a burning marijuana cigarette and a small quantity of marijuana in the vehicle. There was also a 13-year-old child in the vehicle.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Michael Peterson, 24, of Dutch Hollow Road, and Nicholas Caruso, 24, of Route 430 Bemus Point were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Saturday. According to police, officers responded to a location on East Second Street for a report of people in a parking lot smoking marijuana. Officers located the two males in a parked vehicle in possession of marijuana.

Timothy S. Berry, 37, of Jamestown was charged with failure to maintain lane and aggravated driving while intoxicated Sunday. According to police, officers stopped a vehicle on North Main Street for failure to maintain lane. An investigation revealed the vehicle operate Berry was allegedly intoxicated. A blood alcohol content breath test revealed Berry’s blood was more than twice the legal limit.

Jose E. Ramirez-Agosto, 28, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed not reasonable and prudent, loud exhaust and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle Sunday. According to police, officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Washington Street. The vehicle also had a loud exhaust. Officers conducted a traffic stop and officers allegedly smelled an odor of alcohol coming form the driver’s, Ramirez-Agosto breath. Officers conducted a field sobriety test and the Ramirez-Agosto allegedly failed.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeffrey T. Hughan, 31, of Jamestown was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Friday. According to police, police, the Fluvanna Fire Department and Alstar were dispatched to a residence in Fluvanna for an unresponsive male due to a drug overdose. Safety workers arrived on the scene to find the male revived by a neighbor who had performed CPR on Hughan. An investigation found that Hughan had hypodermic needles and a small quantity of heroin.

Penny Mae Eidson, 55, of 502 Monroe St., Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny Friday. According to police, officers responded to a shoplifting complaint from an Ellicott business.

Denae E. Doner, 32, of 282 Broadhead Ave., lower apartment, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny Saturday. According to police, officers responded to K-Mart for a shoplifting complaint.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tony Stebbins, 26, of 84 Division St., Salamanca, was charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespassing Sept. 6 at 10:56 p.m. Stebbins was processed and held pending arraignment.

Misty Williams, 20, of 38 West Ave., Salamanca was taken into custody on a bench warrant out of Olean City Court on Sept. 8 at 1:15 p.m. She was turned over to Olean police.

Girlie Contreraz, 23, of 8313 Old Route 17, Salamanca, was charged with second-degree harassment Sept. 4 at 9:28 a.m. The charges stem from a dispute that occurred on Aug. 30.

Barbara Lewis, 42, of 335 Broad St., Salamanca, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Sept. 4 at 12:24 p.m. Lewis was released on an appearance ticket to appear back in Salamanca City Court.

A 17-year-old male was charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and violation of a city noise ordinance Sept. 4 at 4:03 p.m.

Michael Rucker, 19, of 27 Summit St., Salamanca was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. The charges stem from a domestic dispute that occurred in the city. He was issued an appearance ticket for Salamanca City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

ELLERY – Christopher E. Dellahoy, 24, of Sinclairville was charged with resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and various traffic infractions Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover crash with possible entrapment and the vehicle still burning on Pickard Road at 1:41 a.m. Upon arrival, all occupants had exited the vehicle. Through an investigation, deputies learned that the operator was Dellahoy, who had fled the scene, police said. Dellahoy was already wanted for an outstanding warrant for violation of probation, police said. Additional units from the Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police were called and a perimeter was established. Dellahoy was eventually located on Route 380 in the town of Stockton, police said. He resisted arrest, according to police, but was taken into custody after officers utilized a Taser. Dellahoy was taken to Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville and held.

HARMONY – Vincent J. Mardino, 33, of 9927 Route 62, Gowanda, was charged with second-degree burglary and two counts of third-degree assault Thursday. Officers learned that Mardino crawled through an open window of a residence located on Weeks Road in Panama at 7 a.m. and once inside, assaulted two occupants of the residence who were asleep in bed, police said. Mardino was an acquaintance of the female victim, police said. Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and refused treatment at the scene, however later that day the male victim sought medical treatment. Mardino turned himself in and was arraigned in Town of Chautauqua Court in lieu of Harmony Court, police said. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash/$20,000 property bail.

MAYVILLE – A 17-year-old female inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail was charged with second-degree harassment Thursday. Deputies responded to the jail after they were advised that an inmate was in the booking room being uncooperative and disruptive, police said. The inmate was advised by correctional officers to return to her holding cell and she allegedly became loud and disorderly. While she was being restrained, she was able to bite a correctional officer on the shoulder, police said. The inmate was arraigned at Mayville Village Court and bail was set at $250 cash/$500 property.

FORESTVILLE – Mark R. Kirkland, 53, of 11108 Quarry Road, Forestville, was charged with second-degree harassment Thursday. Deputies responded to an altercation at 10:50 p.m. Kirkland had grabbed a victim by the shirt and thrown them into a vehicle, police said. A witness jumped on Kirkland and brought him to the ground, police said. The victim entered the house and upon exiting, Kirkland allegedly hit the victim in the back of the head. He will appear in Town of Hanover Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Patrick S. Hill, 22, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and unnecessary noise while Angel M. Kuhn, 18, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration Saturday. Officers were dispatched to the area of West Ninth Street and Cherry Street at 2:17 a.m. for a report of a large group fighting. Upon arrival, officers observed Hill in the street yelling and attempting to walk away from the area. Officers advised Hill to stop at which point he fled on foot into 50 W. Ninth St. where he attempted to shut the door on officers, police said. Hill allegedly began to physically resist officers as they attempted to place him into custody. As officers were attempting to take Hill into custody, Kuhn allegedly jumped on the back of an officer in an attempt to prevent the arrest. Both subjects were transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

PLEASANT – John Michael Childs, 18, of Warren, Pa., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Thursday. Officers conducting a traffic stop on Route 62 at 10:56 p.m. found Childs to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jason L. Smith, 30, of Salamanca was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal trespassing Tuesday at 10:47 a.m. following an incident in the city.

Carley A. Ott, 22, of Salamanca was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and criminal obstructing of breathing or blood circulation Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. following an incident in the city.

Logan C. Weatherby, 19, of Salamanca was charged with a violation of an order of protection Wednesday at 9:32 p.m. following an incident in the city.

Steven Riley, 45, of 329 W. Main St., Falconer, was taken into custody on two bench warrants for failure to pay fines and restitution Sept. 6 at 10:30 a.m. Riley was arraigned in Salamanca City Court.

Megan Cooper, 25, of 712 Wildwood Ave., Salamanca was taken into custody on a bench warrant out of Hamburg Town Court on Sept. 6 at 6:08 p.m. She was taken to Springville and turned over to Hamburg police.

DUNKIRK – Michael J. Gula, 52, of Fredonia was charged at 3:06 a.m. on Friday with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while intoxicated and driving with .08 of 1 percent or more alcohol. Sheriff’s Deputies observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Waldorff and Brigham Roads in Dunkirk. The vehicle was stopped and Gula was identified as the operator. Through an investigation, it was found that Gula was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was processed and later released with traffic tickets. He will appear in the Town of Dunkirk Court at a later date and time.

VILLENOVA – Klarisa J. Foster, 23, of the South Dayton-Silver Creek Road, Forestville, was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with felony burglary. Deputies responded to the South Dayton-Silver Creek Road for a reported wanted subject. Foster was wanted on a Chautauqua County felony burglary warrant. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that Foster had fled into a wooded area. Chautauqua County K-9 Unit was brought to the scene in an attempt to locate her who had fled into a heavily wooded and overgrown area. K-9 Drago was able to work through the densely wooded area and located Foster who hid in a ditch under brush and overgrowth. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jonathan M. Bates, 20, of Jamestown was charged at 3:44 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, speed in zone, open container in motor vehicle and unlicensed operator. Jamestown Police Officers observed a vehicle traveling in excess of the posted speed limit on Falconer Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator as Bates. Upon further investigation he was found to be unlicensed and operation a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was charged and transported to the city jail where a chemical breath test was administered with his blood alcohol content in excess of twice the legal limit. He is currently being held in the city jail awaiting arraignment.

Dan N. Tompkins, 36, of Jamestown was charged at 9:35 p.m. on Friday with backing unsafely, leaving/scene property damage accident, failure to stop at stop sign, failed to comply with unlawful order, consumption/alcohol in motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, driving with .08 of 1 percent or more of alcohol, refusal to take prescreen test, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle. An investigation was started into a vehicle that had left the scene of a property-damage motor vehicle accident that had occurred on Pearl Avenue. During the investigation, the suspect vehicle drove past the scene, sped off and a short vehicle pursuit engaged. The suspect vehicle was stopped on Peterson Street at Benedict Avenue. Tompkins was found to be the operator, intoxicated and using the vehicle without consent of the owner. He was charged and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – Jason A. Sproveri, 37, of Pittsfield was charged at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. A vehicle was observed speeding on Big Tree Road in the town of Busti. The operator was identified as Sproveri and upon further investigation it was found he was intoxicated. He was taken into custody for processing, charged and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – A 16-year-old female was charged at 7:35 p.m. Thursday with petit larceny. The female placed hair dye and shorts into her purse and attempted to leave a store at 350 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, without paying. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

Jason C. Merritt, 40, of Forestville was charged at 8:34 p.m. Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. Deputies responded to a vehicle and an Amish buggy accident on the Hartfield/Stockton Road. Upon investigation it was found that Merritt, the vehicle’s operator, was under the influence of alcohol. He was charged and will appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later time and date. There were no injuries as a result of the accident.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Paige L. Graves, 23, of Jamestown was charged at 1:23 a.m. on Wednesday, with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speed in zone, loud/inadequate exhaust and unlicensed operator. Jamestown Police Officers observed a gray-colored Honda Accord traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on North Main Street with a loud exhaust. They conducted a traffic stop on North Main Street at West 23rd Street and identified the operation as Graves. Upon further investigation, officers determined that Graves was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She was arrested at the scene and was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, at which time a chemical breath test was administered and it was found she had a blood alcohol content over the legal limit of .08 percent. Graves was released to reappear in city court at a later date.

TOWN OF ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

CELORON – Todd H. Rosendahl, 46, of 44 E. Duquesne St., Celoron, was charged with second-degree harassment at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Ellicott Police responded to a report of harassment and upon further investigation it was found that Rosendahl grabbed and struck the victim. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.

CELORON – Ryan A. Seeley, 31, of 48 Sturges St., Apt. 1, Jamestown, was charged at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Ellicott officers noticed two vehicles parked in the Celoron Park parking lot unoccupied. The owners were located behind a building in the park and Ellicott officers confiscated a small quantity of marijuana from Seeley. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.

Melissa R. Johnson, 32, of Jamestown was charged at 12:48 a.m. on Tuesday with improper/no signal, driving while intoxicated and driving with .08 of 1 percent or more of alcohol. A vehicle was observed on McDaniel Avenue, turning west onto Fairmount Avenue, without signaling. The vehicle was stopped and Johnson was observed operating the vehicle. Johnson was charged and will be arraigned in the Jamestown City Court. Ellicott Police assisted at the scene.

Terrance McCrae, 33, was charged at 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. Jamestown Police Department Officers were called to the area of 610 Newland Ave. on the report of a physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers could hear a male and female yelling at each other in an upstairs apartment. A female let police into the apartment after telling them she was home alone. She advised officers that there were no other occupants in the apartment. While searching the residence, McCrae was found hiding in the attic of the apartment. McCrae refused to cooperate with the police and after a brief investigation, it was learned that the 27-year-old female had an order of protection for him to stay away from her. McCrae was transported to city jail without further incident.

TOWN OF ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

DAYTON – Daniel A. Hart, 20, of 886 Main St., West Seneca, was charged at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 with false personation during a traffic stop on Route 62 in the town of Dayton. During the stop, Hart repeatedly gave patrol officers a false name because he thought he had an active warrant out of another jurisdiction. He was processed, released on an appearance ticket and is due back in the Town of Dayton Court at a later date.

Brown, 21, of Fredonia, was charged at 1:18 a.m. on Sunday with speed in zone, suspended registration, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle to be operating at a high rate of speed on Brigham Road in the town of Dunkirk, police said. After stopping the vehicle, Octavia G. Brown was identified as the operator, and after investigation she was processed and released with traffic tickets, police said. Brown will appear in the Town of Dunkirk court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD – Sean G. Trask, 43, of 32 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood, was charged at 11 a.m. on Monday with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment on a warrant following a domestic dispute at the Chautauqua Avenue location. He was arraigned in the town of Busti Court and is due back on Oct. 2.

LAKEWOOD – Antonio D. Thomas, 26, of 87 Falconer St., Jamestown, was charged on Monday with petit larceny on a warrant following an incident on Aug. 22, where it is alleged that he stole $114.88 in merchandise from Wal-Mart. He is due in the town of Busti Court at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

SALAMANCA – David R. Dickinson, 37, of 1517 Bailey Ave., Buffalo; Robert A. Harris, 28, of 112 Ross St., Buffalo; and April L. Kuhn, of 70 Waite Ave., Salamanca, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after an investigation conducted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police, assigned to the Southern Tier Drug Task Force. They were held in the city of Salamanca Police Department and appeared in Salamanca City Court for arraignment. Investigators report that more charges are pending the completion of the investigation. The task force was assisted by the Salamanca Police Department.

TOWN OF ELLICOTT

POLICE DEPARTMENT

FALCONER – A 16-year-old juvenile, of Falconer, was charged at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree harassment. Ellicott Police responded to a report of harassment. Upon further investigation, police said the juvenile did use obscene language towards the victim. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the town of Ellicott court at a later date.

Iris X. Bonilla, 22, of 144 Fulton St., Jamestown, was charged on Friday with petit larceny. The town of Ellicott Police Department was called to Kmart in West Ellicott for a shoplifting incident. Bonilla allegedly took $80 worth of clothing from the store and allegedly attempted to exit without paying for the items. She was charged and will be in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.

CELORON – Jenny L. Martinelli, 29, of 54 Waverly Ave., Celoron, was charged on Friday with second-degree harassment. The town of Ellicott Police Department charged Martinelli for allegedly going to the victim’s house and telling her that she was going to punch her in the face, as well as allegedly saying many other vulgar comments, causing a disturbance to the victim, police said. Martinelli will be in Ellicott Court on a later date.

Christopher S. Byrne, 52, of 3236 Moon Road, Jamestown, was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct. Ellicott Police responded to the area of West Oak Hill and Moon Road for a report of pigs in people’s yards. Police said that Byrne was the owner of the pigs and was not properly fencing the animals in so that they stayed on his property. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Court.

A 16-year-old female juvenile, of Buffalo, and a second female juvenile, were charged with petit larceny. Ellicott Police responded to the Dollar General for two subjects in custody for allegedly stealing from the store. The two subjects allegedly tried to leave the store without paying for $17 worth of merchandise, police said. The 16-year-old female was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Court, and the juvenile was issued a family court appearance ticket.

Terry L. Latona, 55, of 26 Central Ave., was charged at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday with disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. Ellicott Police officers were called to 23 High St., West Ellicott, for a report of an intoxicated unwanted subject. When officers arrived, they found that Latona, the victim’s landlord, had been found in the residence without permission and was refusing to leave, police said. Latona was asked to leave several times and refused to do so, police said. Latona advised officers he wanted to be arrested and began to yell profanity at officers and the victims, police said. He was arrested and while being processed at the town of Ellicott Police Department, he was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Latona was arraigned in the town of Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Larry P. Campbell Jr., 43, was charged with running a red light, failure to comply, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and second-degree criminal contempt Sunday. Jamestown police noticed a vehicle run a red light at 4:35 p.m. on West Eighth Street at North Main Street and attempted to stop it. The driver, later identified as Campbell, failed to stop and went to 21 Price St. He was later taken into custody and found to be intoxicated. Police also learned Campbell has a valid order of protection to stay away from 21 Price St. and was also operating on a suspended license. Campbell is being held in Jamestown City Jail until arraignment.

Damian A. Taylor, 35, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, speeding, dazzling headlights, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, DWI blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Sunday. At 2:36 a.m. a possible drunk driver was reported to be entering the city on Fluvanna Avenue. The vehicle was seen turning off Fluvanna Avenue south onto Washington Street. Jamestown police observed the vehicle speeding, failing to keep right and traveling with its high beams on. During a traffic stop on Washington Street at West 17th Street, Taylor was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. After an investigation, Taylor was found to be intoxicated. He will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

Eliseo R. Rivera, 28, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and unlicensed operation Sunday. Officers were on patrol in the city when they observed a vehicle speeding on Falconer Street at 1 a.m. Officers stopped the vehicle and while speaking with the driver, Rivera, determined that he was intoxicated. Rivera was also found to have no driver’s license. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Jessie L. Delgado Melendez, 24, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated after an accident on Strong Street near Fulton Street on Saturday. Upon arrival at the scene at 2:22 a.m., officers determined that Delgado Melendez had struck a tree and a fence causing the vehicle to turn on its side. Delgado Melendez was treated at the scene by the Jamestown Fire Department and transported to WCA Hospital by Alstar Ambulance. An investigation showed that Delgado Melendez was intoxicated. He will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

Heidi S. Waite-Coone, 32, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident Saturday. Officers responded to a Spring Street address on three separate occasions for a female calling 911 requesting help. Officers located Waite-Coone in her residence in an intoxicated condition. She was not in distress and continuously told officers she did not need help. Waite-Coone was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

KIANTONE – Jose V. DeJesus, 29, of Colfax Street, Providence, R.I., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, moving from lane unsafely and unlicensed driver Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 at 4:05 a.m. for a traffic violation. The operator was identified as DeJesus and upon investigation was found to be intoxicated. A check of his driver’s license showed his privleges had been suspended. DeJesus was taken into custody and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash/$4,000 property bail. He will appear in Town of Kiantone Court at a later date.

BROCTON – Matthew J. Mulville, 24, of Brocton was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no seatbelt Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies observed an individual operating a motor vehicle without a seatbelt at 11:57 p.m. on Central Avenue in Brocton. Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator was identified as Mulville. Further investigation found him to be intoxicated and that his driving privleges were suspended in New York. He will appear in Village of Brocton Court at a later date.

HANOVER – A 17-year-old youth of Angell Road was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Friday. Sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Angell Road for a report of a disorderly person. Investigation showed that the 17-year-old had allegedly punched holes in the walls of a home and destroyed other property during an altercation. The youth was arraigned in Hanover Town Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brittany M. Lewellen, 26, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher Saturday morning. Jamestown police observed a vehicle failing to keep right at 12:14 a.m. on West Third Street. The vehicle was stopped at Catlin Avenue and Lewellen was determined to the operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. She will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

MINA – Gary W. Rafaloski, 59, of 10734 Gaswell Road, Clymer, was charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing or blood circulation Saturday morning. Sheriff’s deputies were called to 10734 Gaswell Road at 4:40 a.m. for a physical altercation between two subjects. An investigation determined Rafaloski was the aggressor and he was taken into custody. He is being held in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000/$4,000 property bail.

CHAUTAUQUA – Erik J. Lindquist, 32, of Kennedy was charged with unregistered motor vehicle, failure to use designated lane, no turn signal, failure to comply with lawful order of a police officer, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies on patrol observed a side-by-side recreational vehicle make several lane violations in the normal driving lane on Route 394 at 4:55 p.m. in the village of Mayville. When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, Lindquist allegedly fled through several different properties before finally stopping on Clark Street. He will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA – Henry B. Stovall, 36, of Mayville was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies on patrol observed a subject who was known to have a suspended driver’s license operating a vehicle on Water Street at 4:32 p.m. in the village of Mayville. The vehicle was stopped and Stovall was identified as the driver. Stovall’s license had been suspended pending prosecution for an alcohol-related offense. He will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Brianna P. D’Angelo, 33, of 52 Babcock Ave., Silver Creek, was charged at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. She was taken into custody without incident, arraigned and released to appear in court on a later date.

  • CHAUTAUQUA – Scott D. Hosken, 53, of Lakeview was charged at 9:14 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1 with driving while intoxicated, driving with .08 of 1 percent or more alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana. Sheriff’s Deputies observed a vehicle parked on Davis Road in the town of Chautauqua with an occupant inside of it. Upon checking both the vehicle and its occupant, the vehicle attempted to leave the area. Deputies were able to speak with Hosken, the vehicle’s operator, and after a brief investigation found he was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was processed and later released with traffic tickets. He will appear in the town of Chautauqua Court at a later date and time.

TOWN OF ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

James A. Bellomo, 35, of 460 Vallerie Lane, Jamestown, was charged at 4 p.m. on Thursday on an arrest warrant for the charge of petit larceny. The warrant stemmed from an incident which occurred on Aug. 15 when Bellomo wrote a check on an account that had been closed. He was released and will be back in court at a later date.

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Danielle J. Sabo, 25, of Monroe Street, Jamestown, was charged at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday with petit larceny. Police said Sabo allegedly took $12.46 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart without paying. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Court at a later date.

Theresa A. Russo, 36, of Newland Avenue, Jamestown, was charged at 8 p.m. on Wednesday with petit larceny. Russo was stopped by Lakewood-Busti police while trying to leave Wal-Mart with a plastic tote containing $700 worth of merchandise. She was arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Amanda L. Huber was charged at 8 p.m. on Wednesday with petit larceny, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Huber was stopped by police trying to leave Wal-Mart with a plastic tote containing $700 worth of merchandise. She also was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a hypodermic needle. Huber was held in Chautauqua County Jail.

Kevin R. Christy, 25, was charged at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday with second-degree harassment. He was arraigned in Busti Court and released.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Christina M. Lender, 33, was charged at 4:40 a.m. on Thursday with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. John A. Auflick, 54, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Police responded to East Second Street for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed that Lender allegedly kicked the victim numerous times in the face and destroyed their credit card. It was also revealed Auflick allegedly held the victim against the bed and wouldn’t let go. Both were taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. They were awaiting arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Crystal L. Lamere, 32, of Flagg Avenue, Jamestown, was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment following an incident at Southwestern Elementary School. Police said Lamere allegedly yelled threats and profanity at a subject. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK – Dyquan M. Smith, 18, of Deer Street, Dunkirk, was charged at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jordan Acevedo, 18, of Lord Street, Dunkirk, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Deputies executed two felony arrest warrants following a lengthy investigation into a stolen vehicle in Silver Creek. Both were arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

NORTH HARMONY – Jason J. Sprague, 23, of Dewittville was charged at 1:43 a.m. on Sunday with speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. Dennis P. Gonzalez, 21, of Mayville, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 394. Deputies noted an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Both were alleged to be in possession of marijuana following an investigation. They were issued appearance tickets to be in North Harmony Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Josh A. Moore, 33, of Route 430, Bemus Point, was charged at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded to an altercation and found that Moore allegedly pushed and placed his hands around the neck of another person who was holding a small child. Moore was taken into custody and arraigned in Chautauqua Court since no Ellery judge was available. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail and will be back in court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA – Douglas A. Swan, 46, of Snug Harbor Road, Mayville, was charged at 9:05 p.m. on Monday with forcible touching. Deputies investigated a forcible touching incident that occurred on Plank Road. Police allege Swan did touch a female by grabbing her buttocks and genital area. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Richie A. Thompson Jr., 21, of Howard Street, was charged at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies were investigating a possible narcotics complaint on Howard Street in Silver Creek when Thompson was allegedly found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and smoking pipes. He was issued appearance tickets to be in Silver Creek Court a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Larry A. Bryant, 61, of Keller Road, Ashville, was charged at 10:27 p.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and less than two lighted taillamps. Officers on patrol on West Fairmount Avenue observed a vehicle with a taillamp out. Bryant was identified as the driver and allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and was scheduled to be in Busti Court at a later date.

Brian W. Seastedt, 26, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was charged at 2:27 a.m. on Sunday with failure to stop at a stop sign, insufficient turn signal, driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. A vehicle was observed failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to give notice of a turn onto Pine Street at East Fifth Street. Seastedt was stopped and allegedly found to be intoxicated with three passengers. He was awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Jail.

Andrew R. Morrison, 29, of Steamburg, was charged at 9:21 p.m. on Saturday with failure to keep right, refusal to take prescreen breath test and driving while intoxicated. Dispatch received a call of a vehicle traveling east on Hunt Road on the wrong side of the roadway. The vehicle was located on Harding Avenue and observed failing to keep right. Morrison was allegedly observed operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

Kelly D. Foster, 55, was charged at 7:51 p.m. on Saturday with public lewdness. Police allege Foster was urinating in front of Chan An Chinese Restaurant on Foote Avenue. He was taken into custody and was awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Joseph T. Sliwinski, 59, of Burns Road, Angola, was charged at 1:43 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for a traffic violation. Sliwinski and identified as the driver by police and was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Rosa N. Jauregui, 31, of Lackawanna, was charged at 1:15 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and speeding. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on West Main Street. Jauregui was identified as the driver by police and was allegedly found to be intoxicated. She was issued citations and was scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Kristofer M. Kubasik, of North East, Pa., was charged at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded to an incident at Kelly Hotel in Ripley. Following an investigation, Kubasik was taken into custody. He was arraigned in Ripley Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

HANOVER – Sunny A. Leblanc, 31, of Little Valley, was charged at 10:45 p.m. on Friday with felony driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, suspended registration and leaving the scene of an accident. Deputies stopped a vehicle that was reportedly involved in a minor accident. Leblanc was allegedly found to be intoxicated. A check of his driving history showed a previous DWI conviction, upgrading the charged to a felony, police said. Leblanc was processed and released to appear in court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Bryan M. Gregory, 28, of Erie, Pa., was charged at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater and refusal of breath test. Deputies responded to a report of a motorist apparently unconscious at the wheel in a driveway that did not belong to him. Shortly thereafter the vehicle left, police said, but was located and stopped a short distance later. Gregory was identified as the driver and allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was released to a third party and scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH -Richard Frink, 28, of East Randolph, was charged on Friday with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and petit larceny. Police responded to a residence for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed that Frink allegedly was involved in a physical altercation in which he choked the victim to the point of unconsciousness and stole her purse, police said. Frink was located a short time later and taken into custody. He was transported to police barracks, processed and issued appearance tickets to be in Randolph Court at a later date.

CHARLOTTE – Alicia M. Hawkins, of Falconer, was charged on Aug. 28 with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 62 for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. Hawkins was found to be intoxicated, police said, and allegedly failed roadside tests. Her blood alcohol content was found to be .14 percent, and she was released to appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.
