JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
James J. Spitale, 36, was charged at 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree menacing and criminal obstruction of breathing. Officers responded to Barrett Avenue for a domestic dispute. Police learned Spitale allegedly held a female to the floor by her throat, choking her, and would not let her get up. Spitale also threatened to hit the female with a piece of wood, police said. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and was awaiting arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PORTLAND – Jacob D. Chelton, 31, of Brocton, was charged at 11:53 p.m. on Saturday with failure to use designated lane and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies on patrol on Route 20 observed a vehicle commit a lane violation. Chelton was later found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and was taken into custody. He was released with appearance tickets to be in Portland Court at a later date.
POMFRET – John R. McPherson, 42, of Attica, was charged at 2:07 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated common law, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to keep right. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling east on Route 5 and failed to keep right. McPherson was later found to be intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets to be in court at a later date.
MAYVILLE – Thomas D. Przepiora, 55, of Lake Avenue, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies alleged that on Friday Przepiora violated an active order of protection when he showed up at another person’s place of work. A warrant was issued and he was taken into custody. Przepiora was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and committed to County Jail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Amanda K. Jackson, 24, of East Second Street, Jamestown, was taken into custody on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Busti Court on a petit larceny charge. She was due in court Tuesday and was being held in Chautauqua County Jail.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
KIANTONE – Wilson Cooper, 38, of Jamestown, was charged on July 24 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Cooper was stopped for a traffic violation while driving through a road check on Route 62. He was found to be driving on a suspended license. He was arraigned in Carroll Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail. Cooper is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Deserae McKale, 32, of Frewsburg, was charged on July 25 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic violation. Troopers learned McKale’s license had been suspended since January. She was arraigned in Ellicott Court and released to appear at a later date.
BEMUS POINT – Wendy Seastrum, 37, was charged on July 25, was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers responded to Bemus Point for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation learned Seastrum threw things at a minor and tried to hit her with a car. She was processed at police barracks, arraigned in Ellery Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Shawn Carlson, 34, of Case Avenue, was charged at 10:21 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest. Officers responded to Case Avenue for a domestic incident in progress. Police learned Carlson allegedly pushed a victim inside the residence. Carlson fled the scene but was located a short time later. He allegedly resisted arrest and was later arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail. Lakewood-Busti was assisted by Ellicott police and the Sheriff’s Office.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Gregory D. Myers, 38, was charged at 1:42 a.m. on Monday with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, improper right turn, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and aggravated driving while intoxicated. A vehicle was observed failing to keep right on Tiffany Avenue and failing to keep right during a turn. Myers was stopped and later found to be intoxicated. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail where he was found to have a suspended driver’s license. Myers was awaiting arraignment.
Kelly L. Lopez, 34, was charged at 9 p.m. on Sunday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Officers were dispatched to Newland Avenue for a reported assault complaint. During their investigation, Lopez allegedly became disorderly and began to shout obscenities, causing a public disturbance. Lopez was taken into custody, during which time she resisted arrest.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Scott M. Williams, 32, of East James Street, Falconer, was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Police investigated an incident on July 12 where Child Protective Services was doing a home visit for the well being of a child. Police were dispatched for a disorderly person and found Williams used excessive force on his son. A warrant was issued and Williams was later remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
Charles A. Washington, 28, was charged on Saturday with second-degree criminal contempt. Police were on routine patrol and observed a vehicle speeding on Route 60. Police conducted a traffic stop and found Washington violated a valid order of protection with the driver. He was taken into custody and remanded to County Jail following arraignment. The driver was issued a traffic ticket for speeding.
Alyssa R. Payne, 22, of Buffalo Street, Jamestown, was charged on Saturday with petit larceny. Police were called to K-Mart on Fairmount Avenue for a shoplifting complaint. Payne allegedly took $50 worth of merchandise without paying. She was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.
Joshua D. Doud, 31, of Jamestown, was charged on Sunday with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing. Police responded to a domestic incident. Following an investigation, Doud was found to have had a verbal argument with a victim that turned physical when he allegedly struck and choked them. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
STOCKTON – Christopher E. Dellahoy, 24, of Stockton, was charged at 11:58 p.m. on Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Deputies responded to a report of a fight at a Stockton residence. Police learned Dellahoy allegedly smashed a cellphone on the pavement in the view of deputies. While being taken into custody, Dellahoy allegedly physically obstructed deputies, and after a brief struggle was secured inside a patrol car. Police said Dellahoy allegedly attempted to kick the windows out of the patrol car. He was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
PORTLAND – Rodney A. Austin, 26, was charged at 2:42 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and inadequate muffler. Deputies observed a vehicle on Lake Avenue with a leaking exhaust system. Austin was later found to be intoxicated and charged. He will be in Brocton Court at a later date.
PORTLAND – Fredrick S. Brown, 28, was charged at 5:56 a.m. on Sunday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies responded to a vehicle rollover on Route 20 and said Brown left his lane and struck a parked vehicle. The collision caused Brown’s vehicle to overturn, police said. He was taken to Westfield Hospital for minor injuries and is due back in Portland Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK – Benjamin D. Crane, 21, was charged at 5:10 a.m. on Sunday with second-degree criminal trespassing. Deputies responded after a homeowner awoke to a subject in their residence. Police learned Crane allegedly entered the residence without the owner’s permission. Crane was detained until deputies arrived, and he was taken into custody without incident. He was arraigned in French Creek Court committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Katherine L. Ballard, 60, was charged at 1:29 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and no headlamps. Officers stopped a vehicle on Harrison Street for no headlamps. Police said Ballard was later found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody where a breath test was administered. Ballard was awaiting arraignment.
Adrian Rosario-Coriano, 39, was charged at 2:51 a.m. on Sunday with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. A vehicle was observed crossing the yellow line and striking road markings several times on East Second Street. Police said Rosario-Coriano was later found to be intoxicated and was transported to Jamestown City Jail. A breath test showed Rosario-Coriano’s blood alcohol content to be .18 percent or greater, police said.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – David T. Nelson, 47, of Niagara St., Tonawanda, N.Y., was charged at 1:17 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speed in zone, failure to keep right and move from lane. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover for traffic violations. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Nelson and further investigation found him to be intoxicated. Nelson was taken into custody and later released with traffic tickets. He will appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date to answer charges.
HANOVER – Duane M. Carry-Moccasin, 24, of 12921 Route 438, Gowanda, was charged at 4:51 a.m. on Friday with speeding in zone, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover for traffic violation. Upon investigation, Duane Carry-Moccasin was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released with traffic tickets. He will appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date to answer charges.
BARCELONA – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle personal-injury crash Friday at 1:30 p.m. on Route 5. Upon investigation it was determined a vehicle driven by a Conneaut Lake, Pa. man was eastbound at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass several vehicles on the right-hand side. It struck a vehicle driven by a Dunedin, Fla. man and then continued through a fence into a hedge. The Pennsylvania man was extricated from the vehicle and flown to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. for treatment. The Florida man was taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
GERRY – Brianna Skuggen, 22, of Gerry was charged with not wearing a seat belt after a single-vehicle accident Friday at 11:26 a.m. on Nobles Road. Skuggen was traveling northwest on Nobles Road when a deer allegedly entered the road. Skuggen avoided the deer but lost control of her vehicle, which exited the road and struck an embankment, then hit two trees and came to rest in the ditch. Skuggen was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment. She will appear in Town of Gerry Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – Shawn A. Sobczak, 26, of 126 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, unregistered trailer and no brake lights on the trailer at 11:37 a.m. Friday. Sheriff’s deputies stopped the vehicle on Central Avenue in the village of Silver Creek. Investigation revealed that Sobczak had a revoked New York state driver’s license and currently holds several suspensions and revocations on his license, some of which are for prior alcohol-related offenses. Sobczak was arraigned in Village of Silver Creek Court and taken to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
DUNKIRK – Henry L. Smith, 51, of Ashville was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon Friday at 8:40 p.m. at the Chautauqua County Fair. Deputies patrolling the fair observed Smith on the grounds and were aware of an active warrant for him out of Town of North Harmony Court. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a switchblade knife. Due to a prior conviction for a crime, the possession constituted a felony rather than a misdemeanor. Smith was arraigned in Town of North Harmony Court on the original warrant and the new charge. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
SILVER CREEK – Dale W. Miller Jr., 31, of 29 Adams St., Silver Creek, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation Saturday at 10:35 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies received a complaint for an erratic driver on Central Avenue in the village of Silver Creek. Deputies located the vehicle on Adams Street a short distance away and an investigation determined that Miller, the operator, was intoxicated. He was taken into custody, arraigned in Village of Silver Creek Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on bail.
PORTLAND – James L. Moreland, 54, of Deer Street, Dunkirk, was taken into custody on a warrant for second-degree arson Saturday at 1:20 p.m. in Town of Portland Park. Sheriff’s deputies observed Moreland operating a vehicle on Route 20 in Portland and he was known to have an active arrest warrant. Deputies conducted a vehicle stop and Moreland was taken into custody without incident. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Darryl L. Sanders, 38, was charged with public lewdness Friday at 6:17 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the area of 10 Cowing St. for a male exposing himself in public. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a woman and numerous other witnesses. An investigation revealed that Sanders was urinating off the porch in view of other people. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
Rashad C. Taylor, 22, of Chicago was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, while Anthony Darling, 21, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct Saturday at 2:18 a.m. Officers responded to The Q for a report of a possible fight. Upon arrival, officers observed a fight in the street and attempted to break up the fight. Taylor fled on foot after being told he was under arrest. Police chased him and took him into custody a block away from the original location. Both Darling and Taylor were taken to Jamestown City Jail in lieu of bail.
Winfred B. Clark, 37, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants for two counts of second-degree robbery, second-degree assault, third-degree assault, petit larceny and two bench warrants while Terrence M. Mcrea was charged with obstructing governmental administration and two counts of false personation after a warrant check Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Officers received a tip that Clark was at 610 Newland Ave. and received permission to check the residence by the tenant. Officers attempted to verbally call out anyone inside the residence. After numerous attempts Mcrea came out of the residence and gave officers a false name. When taken to Jamestown City Jail, Mcrea allegedly gave another false name. Officers did clear the residence and located Clark in the attic under a trap. He was taken into custody without further incident.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Michelle M. Lewis, 31, of 7383 Bowers Road, Cassadaga, was charged with petit larceny Friday at 1 p.m. Lewis allegedly stole $110.22 worth of merchandise and returned the items for a gift card at Wal-Mart on Monday. She is due in Town of Busti Court on Tuesday for arraignment.
A 16-year-old male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property Saturday. The male was found to be in possession of a bicycle that was stolen from Sacred Heart Church, 380 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, on July 20. The male was issued an appearance ticket for Town of Busti Court at a later date.

Thomas B. Judson of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI blood alcohol content .18 or higher, no stopping/standing or parking on a highway and no seat belt Thursday at 3:07 p.m. Officers observed a black pickup truck parked in the road on East Fourth Street and the operator was not wearing his seat belt. The vehicle was stopped at Mechanics Alley and the operator was identified as Judson. Further investigation revealed that Judson was intoxicated. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
SHERMAN – James L. Linger, 37, of Sherman was charged with second-degree menacing at 10 p.m. Sunday. Deputies were dispatched with New York State Police to an incident on Route 76 in Sherman. It is alleged that Linger pointed a loaded firearm at a victim and made threats placing the victim in fear of injury or death. Linger will appear in Sherman Town Court at a later date.

Nadine A. Nietupski, 22, of High Street, Cassadaga, was charged with petit larceny following a complaint filed June 27. According to the victim, Nietupski had been at the residence where hundreds of dollars later went missing. Nietupski told police she took the money and was arraigned in Ellicott Court to appear again at a later date.
Victor M. Rivera III, 33, of East Fifth Street, Jamestown, was charged on Tuesday with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Rivera turned himself into police on arrest warrants stemming from an incident that occurred in Celoron on June 5. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and released to appear at a later date.

David G. Stevens, 59, was charged at 9:42 p.m. on Tuesday with speeding and driving while ability impaired by drugs. Police observed a vehicle speeding on West Eighth Street. Stevens was allegedly found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs. He was taken into custody and was awaiting arraignment.

WESTFIELD – Skyler Miller, 26, of Maple Avenue, Ripley, was charged at 10:07 p.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, unlawful possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies observed a vehicle operated by Miller, who had outstanding warrants from Chautauqua County Probation and Ripley Court. After a traffic stop with Westfield police, Miller was found to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana and prescription pills. She was committed to Chautauqua County Jail and will be in Westfield Court to answer the charges at a later date.

HANOVER – Kyle M. Samuelson, 20, of Route 62, Conewango, was charged at 3 a.m. on Tuesday with speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for a traffic violation. An investigation found Samuelson in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Kevin A. Brennan, 25, of Cheektowaga, was charged at 1:11 a.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for a traffic violation. Brennan was later found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was released with uniform traffic tickets to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – James J. Hilliker, 45, of Forestville, was charged at 12:15 a.m. on Monday with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment. Deputies alleged that Hilliker on July 5 went to the victim’s residence and cut the brake lines of several vehicles and damaged braking and other vehicle parts. He was taken into custody and will be back in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Sean T. Conners, 32, of Orchard Park, was charged at 6 p.m. on Sunday with open container in a public place. Deputies witnessed Conners walking with an open 12-ounce can of beer in his hand. The deputy had Conners dump the rest of the beer and issued him an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Samuel Anderson, 19, of Kane, Pa., was charged at 11:57 p.m. on Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana, underage possession of alcohol, failure to stop at a stop sign and open container of alcohol inside a motor vehicle. Officers on patrol on Hunt Road observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. Following an investigation Anderson was found in possession of marijuana and alcohol. He will be in Busti Court to answer the charges at a later date.
Harmon K. Dockstader, 34, was charged at noon on Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Dockstader was taken into custody following a domestic incident with his wife. He was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail on $500 bail.
Zachary J. Wells, 37, of Jamestown, was charged at 4 p.m. on Monday with first-degree contempt following a violation of an order of protection from Jamestown City Court. Wells was riding in the same vehicle as the complainant in the order when the vehicle was stopped for speeding in Busti. Wells was released and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Noah J. Soto, 32, was charged at 9:30 p.m. on Monday with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded to WCA Hospital for a past tense assault complaint. Police spoke to the victim, who stated Soto allegedly punched him in the face and broke his glasses. Soto was located and taken into custody. He was being held in jail pending arraignment.

CHERRY CREEK – Brenda Anderson, 55, was charged at 11 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, driving while intoxicated per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and operating an ATV on public highway. Deputies said they observed an ATV traveling eastbound on Prospect Street. The operator was stopped and later found to be intoxicated, police said. Anderson was released with traffic tickets to appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.

Sarah R. Seaholm, 21, of Jamestown, was charged on Sunday with disorderly conduct. Officers said they observed a vehicle traveling on North Work Street with unreasonably loud music. The vehicle was stopped, and Seaholm was charged. She was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Marcy D. Thompson, 21, and Desire M. Williams, 21, both of Jamestown, were charged at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday with larceny. Police said both subjects were charged after allegedly stealing $67.28 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue. Most of the merchandise consisted of make-up and personal care items. Thompson and Williams were observed allegedly placing the items in their purses. Both were issued appearance tickets to be in court at a later date. Williams was found to have an outstanding warrant from Jamestown, police said. She was handed over to city police.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
KIANTONE – Ruby Warner, 49, was charged on Friday with disorderly conduct. Troopers responded to a neighbor dispute and found Warner acting in a belligerent manner and refusing to cease her behavior despite commands, police said. Warner allegedly used obscene language at a volume that could be heard by neighbors. Warner was arraigned in Kiantone Court and is scheduled to be back at a later date.
HANOVER – John McLaughlin III was charged on Sunday with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Troopers and Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Police said McLaughlin punched drywall in the victim’s residence and allegedly struck the victim in the head several times. McLaughlin also allegedly bit the victim, causing injury. He was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Lisa A. Rodriguez, 38, was charged at 10:47 p.m. on Saturday with unsafe passing, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater. Police said they observed a vehicle passing several cars unsafely on East Second Street near Cowing Street. Rodriguez was stopped and later found to be intoxicated, police said. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown Police Department.

RIPLEY – Ashley R. Belson, 29, was charged at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and inadequate tail lights. Deputies observed a vehicle operating with inadequate tail lights. Belson was stopped and later found to be intoxicated, police said. She was taken into custody and will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
RIPLEY – Markus J. Meredith, 19, was charged at 11 p.m. on Saturday with unlawful possession marijuana and no seatbelt. Daniel J. Dulong, 19, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies observed an individual operating a vehicle without a seatbelt. Following an investigation, a small quantity of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Both were issued appearance tickets to be in Ripley Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Katie R. Ross, 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, unnecessary noise and an outstanding bench warrant Friday at 7:18 a.m. Officers were called to 185 Fairmount Ave., for a report of a woman screaming. Upon arrival, officers located Ross screaming loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear. Officers then found a male subject hiding in the apartment and it was determined the male had an order of protection for Ross to stay away from him. Additionally, officers found there was an outstanding bench warrant for Ross out of Jamestown City Court. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
Elizabeth “Connie” G. Alteri, 47, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and second-degree reckless endangerment Friday at 10:19 a.m. Officers responded to the Rite Aid at 50 S. Main St. for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, officers learned that employees apprehended Alteri attempting to leave the store without paying for $58.14 worth of merchandise. It was also learned that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Alteri stemming from a June 26 incident. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
Ashley N. Neumann, 25, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, and Ashley D. Karash, 26, of Jamestown was charged with tampering with physical evidence Friday at 2:10 a.m. Officers responded to the area of Jefferson and West Eighth streets for a report of several people fighting and one female displaying a knife. An investigation revealed that Neumann allegedly displayed a knife and threatened a victim with it. Neumann fled the scene prior to officers arriving, but she was later found at her West 10th Street home. As officers were speaking to Neumann she attempted to conceal the knife under a cellphone that she passed to Karash. They were both transported to Jamestown City Jail where they were held pending arraignment.

CHARLOTTE – An 18-year-old male was charged with sexual misconduct following an April 2012 incident that occurred in Sinclairville. The man was 17 years old at the time, when he allegedly had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a female juvenile.

Jared Wagoner, 23, of Salamanca was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana Monday at 10:26 p.m. He was issued an appearance ticket for Salamanca City Court at a later date.

Police were dispatched to a residence in Falconer for a fight. Police learned Riley was in the residence and allegedly started a physical altercation with the owner of the residence. She was taken into custody after a warrant was filed and arraigned in Ellicott Court.
Bonnie S. Slater, 52, of Pope Road, Randolph, was charged on Wednesday with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. Police investigated an incident in which Slater allegedly possessed a hypodermic needle while in the presence of a child. She was arraigned in Ellicott Court and released.

John A. West, 27, of Jamestown was charged at 7 p.m. on Wednesday with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Officers responded to Willard Street for a report of a male that had overdosed and unresponsive. West refused to provide officers with his name and information regarding the incident, and attempted to shut the door on officers. Police then attempted to take West into custody when he resisted. He was held pending arraignment.
David Soderberg, 24, of Jamestown was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Officers responded to East Virginia Circle for a suspicious male in the area. During their investigation police say Soderberg was sitting on a porch and allegedly began acting suspiciously. At one point he attempted to pull away and escape, at which time he was taken into custody and transported to jail. Soderberg was held pending bail.
Robert A. Arguelles, 23, of Jamestown was charged at 11:18 p.m. on Wednesday with third-degree assault and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers responded to Price Street for a report of a fight. An investigation found that Arguelles punched the victim multiple times in the face, causing the victim’s face to become severely swollen. Arguelles allegedly fled the scene, but officers and a K-9 unit found him a short time later. Arguelles was transported to jail and was awaiting arraignment.

A 17-year-old male was charged at 5:23 p.m. on Wednesday with petit larceny following an incident at Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue. Police say the juvenile allegedly took $54.78 worth of Magic Cards without paying. The subject was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Court at a later date.

John W. Rogers, 33, of Bemus Point was charged at 3:36 a.m. on Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded to Lakeside Drive in Bemus Point and learned Rogers harassed a victim and damaged items in an argument. Rogers was taken into custody and arraigned in Ellery Court. He was released on his own recognizance and will be back in court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Amy J. Goldberg, 34, of Dunkirk was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration and operating without insurance. Deputies observed a parked vehicle in the roadway of Central Avenue hindering traffic. It was learned Goldberg’s registration was suspended with no insurance. Additionally, a check showed her driver’s license was suspended. Goldberg was released to appear in court at a later date.

Mazurkiewicz, 36, of Fredonia was charged at 11 p.m. on July 11 with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or greater and two counts of failure to stop at a stop sign. Deputies observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign and then failed to slow for another stop sign. The vehicle was stopped and deputies found Mazurkiewicz to be driving while intoxicated. She was charged and released with traffic tickets to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
BROCTON – Nichole Gloss, 31, of Buffalo was charged at 2:46 a.m. on Saturday with felony driving while intoxicated, driving across hazard markings and following too closely. Deputies observed a vehicle travel over the fog line on Route 20 while making a turn off Central Avenue. The vehicle was then observed traveling too closely to another vehicle. Gloss was stopped by deputies and later found to be intoxicated. She was arraigned in Brocton Court and released with traffic tickets.
HANOVER – James L. Casey, 43, of Poags Hole Road, Dansville, was charged at 8:22 p.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, refusal of breath screening test and failure to comply with lawful order of a police officer. Deputies responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on Newton Street. Following an investigation, Casey was found to be intoxicated. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Kassie L. Haile, 22, of Bemus Point was charged at 11:57 p.m. on Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers were flagged down by a witness in the area of Best Western on West Third Street who reported a domestic incident. The witness stated a male and female were in a physical altercation and drove off in a Jeep. Police initiated a traffic stop on Washington Street near Forest Avenue and learned Haile was in violation of an order of protection. Haile was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.

NEW ALBION – Noah N. Shelter, 21, of Route 62, Conewango Valley, was charged on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content .08 percent or greater and failure to keep right following a traffic stop. He was released on tickets and is scheduled to be in New Albion Court at a later date.
LITTLE VALLEY – William P. Hunt, 30, of South Dayton was charged on Sunday with third-degree assault following an investigation of a dispute where he punched a male multiple times in the face. Hunt was taken into custody and released on an appearance ticket.

KIANTONE – Andrew Mattson, 21, of Jamestown was charged on July 7 with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 62. Troopers observed a glass pipe containing burnt marijuana in plain sight in the compartment of the driver’s side door. Mattson was taken into custody and a second pipe containing burnt marijuana was located in the center console. Mattson was issued an appearance ticket to be in Kiantone Court at a later date.

Steven F. Larson, 21, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged at 2 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to keep right, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed for a zone on Forest Avenue with the driver over the yellow lines. Following an investigation, Larson was found to be intoxicated and a small bag of marijuana was located. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old Falconer resident was charged on July 10 with stolen motor vehicle. Police investigated an unauthorized use complaint from a Falconer business. An investigation found the juvenile allegedly removed keys from the business and stole a motor vehicle, which was later recovered. The juvenile was to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Amelia C. Lindquist, 19, of North Work Street, Falconer, was charged on June 17 for larceny. Police investigated an incident where Lindquist allegedly entered a business in Falconer and took items without paying. A warrant was issued and Lindquist was later arraigned in Ellicott Court.

SILVER CREEK – Eric S. Grundhoefer, 24, of Hanover Street, was charged at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded to an altercation in which several items were damaged at the residence. Grundhoefer was arraigned in Hanover Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail. He will return to Silver Creek Court at a later date.
BROCTON – Wendy M. Hallmark, 52, of East Main Street, was charged at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. An investigation by deputies and Westfield police led to charges against Hallmark for stealing a motorized scooter cart from Tops Markets in Westfield. Hallmark was located by deputies and found to be in possession of the scooter. she will appear in court at a later date.
HANOVER – Eric C. Lundberg, 51, was charged at 10 p.m. on Saturday with open container in a public place. Deputies noticed an open beer can in Lundberg’s hand. As deputies drove past him, he threw the can on the ground. Deputies had Lundberg pick up the can and dump the rest of the beer out. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Hanover Court at a later date.
FREWSBURG – A 16-year-old male, of Ashville, was charged at 3:34 a.m. on Saturday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, unregistered vehicle and operating out of class. An 18-year-old, of Panama, and a 19-year-old, of Lakewood, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle on West Main Street for having an expired registration. Deputies found three male subjects allegedly smoking marijuana in the vehicle. The operator of the vehicle was found to be impaired and taken into custody. All three were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Andrew F. Mealy, 23, was charged at 7:36 p.m. on July 9 with second-degree aggravated harassment. Officers responded to Washington Street for an aggravated harassment that occurred on Bush Street. Upon arrival officers learned Mealy called and threatened the victim over the phone. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident and was held pending bail.
Hector E. Rios, 47, of West Third Street, was charged at 2:06 p.m. on Sunday with second-degree aggravated harassment, two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded for a report of an unwanted person. Police learned Rios had violated an active order of protection out of Jamestown City Court. He was transported to jail where he was awaiting arraignment.

Lavern L. Riley, 31 of Jamestown, was charged at 4 a.m. on Thursday with sixth-degree conspiracy and Ashley L. Figueroa, 24, also of Jamestown, was charged with sixth-degree conspiracy and petit larceny. Officers were dispatched to the 7-11 store at 340 Allen St. to investigate a past tense shoplifting complaint that occurred at 4 a.m. Officers watched the surveillance footage and observed Figueroa taking several items from the store without paying for them. They also observed Riley distracting the store employee while the items were being stolen. Officers located both women and transported them to the city jail without incident.
Lorilynn Moriarty, 18, of Jamestown, was charged at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with criminal trespass second/harassment second. Officers responded to a West 13th Street residence for a neighbor dispute. A female victim reported that Lorilynn Moriarty entered her apartment and began threatening her. She fled the building and called police. Moriarty was taken into custody and transported to the city jail without incident.
Larry Campbell Jr., 43, of Jamestown, was charged at 9 p.m. on Thursday, with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment. Jamestown Police officers were dispatched to a Price Street address for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, it was found that Larry P. Campbell had thrown an object at a female victim while she was operating her vehicle and attempting to leave the residence. Her driver’s side window was broken causing glass to go into her face, head and shoulder. She did receive further medical treatment for minor lacerations resulting from the incident. Campbell Jr. was located shortly after and was taken into custody without incident. He was charged and is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Jail.

MAYVILLE – William R. Thomas Jr., 54, of Dewittville, was charged at 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and loud exhaust. The Sheriff’s Patrol stopped a vehicle on Sea Lion Drive for a loud exhaust. Following an investigation, William R. Thomas Jr. was charged and later released to appear in Chautauqua County Town Court on a future date.
FALCONER – Tyler D. Bemis, 22, of 31 W. Main St., Falconer, was charged on July 8 with fourth-degree grand larceny and fraudulent receipt of benefits. From July 2012 through February 2013, Bemis allegedly did not report his employment/income to the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services. This action allegedly led to him receiving $2,668.56 in Medicaid benefits that he was not entitled to receive. Bemus is scheduled to appear in the city of Jamestown Court at a later date.

PITTSFIELD – Charles Allan Stewart, 30, of Waterford, was charged at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, with public drunkenness. Stewart was found on Hosmer Run Road in Pittsfield, Warren County and was highly intoxicated, police said. He alarmed a female who contacted Pennsylvania State Police Warren, police said. Upon their arrival, Stewart was accused and the charge filed through District Judge Lindemuth’s office.

POLAND – Jordan Bradybaugh, 30, of Grandview Road, Kane, Pa., was charged at midnight on Wednesday with second-degree harassment and criminal mischief. Deputies learned Bradybaugh was involved in an altercation with another party. Police said Bradybaugh allegedly dragged a person from his vehicle and caused damage to their cellphone before fleeing the scene. Charges are pending in Poland Court.
SILVER CREEK – Nathan K. Thompson, 18, of Hanover Road, was charged at 9:39 p.m. on July 2 with breach of the peace. Deputies were in the area of Maple Place when a crowd developed in the road and a verbal altercation ensued. Thompson was advised numerous times to disperse and allegedly refused to do so. He was charged and is scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

Toni L. Bradberry, 21, was charged at 2 a.m. on Tuesday with four counts of second-degree harassment, two counts of second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Officers responded to Linden Avenue for a report of a disorderly person. Police learned Bradberry allegedly entered a home unlawfully and caused a disturbance inside the residence. Bradberry was escorted outside, but she kicked a victim and a bystander in the area. Police said she re-entered the residence but fled when officers arrived. Bradberry was found a short time later and was taken into custody. Police said she allegedly attempted to run and kicked and spit on officers in the process. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and awaiting arraignment.

Shawn M. Paprocki, 26, and Amy M. Swanson, 40, both of Jamestown, were charged at 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday with petit larceny following an incident at Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue. Police said both subjects allegedly placed new shoes on their feet and exited the store without paying. Both are scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Christine L. Hawkins, 42, was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with second-degree harassment. Police said Hawkins allegedly threatened to punch her neighbor in the face at Southwestern Drive in the town of Busti. She will be in Busti Court at a later date.

Corinne L. Frye, 53, of Hamburg, was charged at midnight on July 5 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. Police were on patrol and observed a vehicle swerve into the southbound lane while traveling north on South Portage Street. Frye was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
Jon D. Nusom, 49, was charged at 8:40 p.m. on June 15 with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Police responded with State Police and sheriff’s deputies to Clark Street for a report of a disorderly male. Police could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana. Nusom was allegedly found in possession of 2 ounces of marijuana and was issued an appearance ticket to be in court at a later date.

CUBA – Jonathan Johnson, 37, turned himself on an arrest warrant issued out of Hinsdale Court. He was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child stemming from a previous incident in Hinsdale. He is due back in court later.
ELLICOTTVILLE – Peter W. Waldorf, 51, of Lake Avenue, Blasdell, was charged at 10 p.m. on July 4 for driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped Waldorf for failure to keep right and driving erratically. An investigation found him to be intoxicated.

Case, 44, was charged at 10:25 p.m. on July 4 with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and aggravated first-degree unlicensed operation. Deputies stopped Case for no tail light and was later found to be intoxicated. He was processed and released to appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.

Dickinson, 24, of Main Street, Franklinville, was charged at 12:54 a.m. on July 5 with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. Dickinson was stopped on Route 242 for failure to keep right and following too closely. An investigation later found her to be intoxicated.

Karen L. Brown, 39, was charged at 1:22 a.m. on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and equipment violation. Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Price and Winsor streets for an equipment violation. Brown was identified as the driver and later found to be intoxicated. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail where a breath sample found her blood alcohol level over twice the legal limit. Brown was released with appearance tickets to be in Jamestown Court at a later date.

Leslie A. Bamburoski, 18, of Pleasantview Avenue, Lakewood, was charged at 12:35 a.m. on Friday with criminal possession of a forged instrument, obstructing governmental administration, second-degree harassment and underage possession of alcohol. Officers located a backpack that contained beer and a fake Pennsylvania driver’s license. Officers went to Bamburoski’s residence and she was later taken into custody. During that time, police said she allegedly became combative and started to slap and kick at an officer. Bamburoski was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail on $5,000 bail.

PORTLAND – Jason L. Passinger, 37, of Jamestown, was charged at 10:50 a.m. on Monday with criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation. Deputies conducted a warrant check at a residence in the town of Portland. Passinger was taken into custody and charged. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail on the warrant and detainers were filed out of Portland.
HANOVER – Samantha M. Dilallo, 25, of Randolph, was charged at 1:18 a.m. on Monday with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content .18 percent or greater. Deputies observed a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 make several lane violations. Dilallo was allegedly found to be operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She was processed and released to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
BROCTON – A 16-year-old youth was taken into custody at 3:30 a.m. Monday. Deputies traveling on Routes 5 and 20 observed numerous subjects in the front lawn of a residence. Police saw numerous apples being thrown by the subjects, one of which struck a patrol car. A foot pursuit ensued, and the 16-year-old was taken into custody on Central Avenue. Charges are pending.

Charles L. Marshall Jr., 43, was charged at 1:45 a.m. on Sunday with second-degree menacing. Officers responded to Allen Street for a report of a person with a weapon. Marshall was located allegedly in possession of a black BB gun. Police said Marshall allegedly brandished the BB gun to a victim, causing the victim to be in fear of her safety. Marshall was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He was awaiting arraignment.
Steven M. Becker, 19, was charged at 12:51 a.m. on Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded to West Sixth Street for a report of a domestic dispute in progress. An investigation revealed Becker allegedly destroyed several items belonging to the victim. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail where he was awaiting arraignment.
Nicholas Schifano was charged at 9:31 p.m. on Sunday with unlawfully growing cannabis and second-degree menacing. Officers responded to Kipp Street for a domestic incident in progress. Police learned Schifano was allegedly upstairs with a knife. While searching for the knife, officers located a small amount of marijuana growing inside a closet in the bedroom. Schifano was transported to jail awaiting arraignment.

BEMUS POINT – Abbey A. Benton, 23, of Frewsburg, and Amanda K. Overbeck, 25, of Jamestown, were charged at 3:20 a.m. on Thursday with trespassing. Deputies were called to the Hotel Lenhart for a report of a female allegedly found behind the counter of the hotel without permission. Deputies were then told two females had fled the area on foot, but were discovered a short time later. Benton and Overbeck were identified by staff at the hotel and were issued appearance tickets to be in Ellery Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Norma J. Peterson, 43, of Angola, was charged at 1:32 a.m. on Thursday with driving while intoxicated, unsafe lane change and driving too slowly. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 and allegedly discovered Peterson was intoxicated. She was taken into custody and released with uniform traffic tickets to be in Hanover Court at a later date.

Lewis, 22, of Ardsley, was charged at 10:26 p.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and disobeying a stop sign. Deputies observed a vehicle pass a stop sign without coming to a stop on Iola Drive. Lewis was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was processed and released to a sober third party.

Kellog, 21, was charged at 2:30 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content level of .08 percent or greater, crossing hazard markings, unsafe lane change, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for traffic violations. Kellog was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. A check of his driving record showed his driving privileges had been revoked for a previous alcohol-related incident, police said. Deputies also found 25 grams of marijuana on Kellog. He was released to appear in Hanover Court to answer the charges.
HANOVER – Jacob H. Fiederowicz, 21, of Buffalo, was charged at 4 a.m. on Friday with disorderly conduct. Deputies were called to Lakeshore Hospital for a disorderly patient. Smith, 23, of Erie, Pa., was charged at 12:41 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speeding and failure to keep right. Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding and failure to keep right. Smith was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. She was released to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Michael W. Butcher, 31, of North Collins, was charged at 7 a.m. on Thursday with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to keep right, speeding, unsafe tires and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies responded to Hanover Road for a crash where the occupants allegedly fled the scene. Butcher was later identified to be the driver and was charged, police said. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Sammy D. Avilas, 34, of Angell Road, Silver Creek, was charged at 9:52 p.m. on Friday with fugitive of justice from Pennsylvania and warrant for fraud – illegal use of credit cards. Deputies on patrol observed a vehicle parked at the side of a maintenance building. An investigation found Avilas was wanted in Pennsylvania on a warrant, and he was later taken into custody. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail with no bail awaiting further court action.
RIPLEY – Douglas A. Woollett, 57, was charged at 11 p.m. on Saturday with speeding and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on South State Street. Woollett was found to be driving on a revoked license, police said. He is scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA – Joseph R. Rhault, 26, of Westfield, and Jacob M. Clark, 21, of Panama, were charged at 10:45 p.m. Thursday with disorderly conduct. Deputies were assisting the fire department with traffic control at Lakeside Park in Mayville following the fireworks display when they witnessed a road rage incident. Police said both drivers had a verbal altercation, which escalated into the vehicles being lurched toward one another in a threatening manner. Rhault and Clark were charged and will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
Michael P. Keller, 18, of Angola; Lucas T. Freemont, 19, of Farnham; and Matthew D. Valliere, 19, of Irving, were charged at 2:30 a.m. on Friday with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for vehicle and traffic violations. While speaking to the occupants, deputies detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. All three were charged and are scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
Zachary R. Jordon, 19, of Alden, and Ryan J. Carberry, 20, of Lockport, were charged at 10:11 p.m. on Wednesday with open container under 21 years old. Deputies were on patrol in Sunset Bay when two males were observed in possession of open alcoholic containers in the parking lot. Both will be in Hanover Court at a later date.

James C. Kris, 53, of Ashville, was charged at 10 p.m. on Wednesday with public lewdness. Police said they observed Kris exposing himself in public on Falconer Street at Curtis Street. Kris was allegedly observed dancing with his pants down while several people were standing around after a fireworks display, police said. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail.
Charles L. Marshall Jr., 43, was charged at 1:45 a.m. on Sunday with second-degree menacing. Officers responded to Allen Street for a report of a person with a weapon. Marshall was located in possession of a black BB gun. Police said Marshall brandished the BB gun to a victim, causing the victim to be in fear of her safety. Marshall was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He was awaiting arraignment.
Alysia M. Nash, 18, was charged at 1 a.m. on Sunday with second-degree criminal trespassing. Officers responded to Barrows Street for a trespassing report. Police said Nash entered the victim’s residence without permission. She was located a short time later and taken into custody. Nash was awaiting arraignment.
Robert C. Ruper, 44, was charged at 9 p.m. on Friday with second-degree criminal trespassing and second-degree harassment. Officers responded to Spring Street for a fight. Ruper was found to have entered a residence and refused to leave. He was transported to city jail.

Brandi M. Howard, 33, of Jamestown, was charged on Wednesday with petit larceny. Police responded to a business for a report of a subject who was being detained by loss prevention personnel. Howard was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA – Salem B. Zarou, 19, of Denver, Colo., was charged at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Zarou was found to have a small quantity of marijuana on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA – Luke M. Fraley, 24, of Jamestown was charged at 2:48 a.m. on Wednesday with felony driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely, speeding and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. Deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Morris Road. Police learned Fraley was operating his Ford sedan southbound when he left the roadway and struck a street sign and utility pole. He was later found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. A check of Fraley’s license showed he had a previous DWI conviction in the last 10 years, making the charge a felony. Fraley was released and scheduled to be back in court at a later date.
HANOVER – Carriee L. Clarke, 39, of Leming Road was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child stemming from an incident June 5. Deputies learned Clarke allegedly struck a male juvenile several times on the left side of his head while on Angell Road in the town of Hanover during a domestic dispute. A warrant was issued, and Clarke was taken into custody and arraigned. She is scheduled to be in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

Candelaria Victor, 20, was charged at 9 a.m. on Wednesday with third-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Officers responded to Jefferson and West Fourth streets for a report of a male and female fighting in the area. Police found Victor hysterical and yelling that she was trying to be killed. A male nearby was yelling threats at the female. The male ignored police commands and was physically restrained for safety. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and booked without incident.

Christopher A. Marker, 28, of Frew Run Road, Frewsburg, was charged on June 28 with criminal contempt. Ellicott police responded to a past-tense domestic incident and discovered Marker violated a valid order of protection. A warrant was issued for Marker, who was picked up by police and arraigned in Ellicott Town Court.

ELLICOTT – Ransford Johnson, 34, of Ashville was charged on Tuesday with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded to a complaint of a male riding an ATV on Blockville-Watts Flats Road in a reckless manner. Johnson was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody where he provided a breath sample of .22 percent. Troopers learned Johnson had been convicted of DWI twice in the past 10 years, making the charge a felony. He was arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
KENNEDY – Dwayne Smith, 45, was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment. Troopers responded to a report of a disorderly male, and found Smith in an intoxicated condition. It was learned Smith allegedly pushed a victim. He is scheduled to be in Poland Town Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Ian T. Ward, 21, of Hickory Street, was charged at 1:52 a.m. on Wednesday with two counts of second-degree menacing. Deputies responded to Hickory Street for an incident and found that Ward had been involved in a verbal altercation with family members, at which time he displayed a 12-gauge shotgun. Ward was located in possession of the gun in the attic. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Silver Creek Court. Ward was remanded to Chautauqua County and will be back in court at a later date.
HANOVER – Issac P. Mallette-Lloyd, 27, of High Street, Cassadaga, was charged at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday with unlawfully dealing with a child, unlawful possession of marijuana and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for an equipment violation. Mallette-Lloyd, a passenger, was found to have been supplying alcohol to a 17-year-old female in the vehicle. Mallette-Lloyd was taken into custody and released to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
NORTH HARMONY – Matthew W. Chapman, 26, of Mayville was charged at 12:53 a.m. on Thursday with operating a motor vehicle with less than two headlights and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies on patrol on Route 394 observed a vehicle with less than two headlights. Police later learned Chapman’s drivers license was suspended. He was taken into custody and released with traffic citation to be in North Harmony Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Lawrence Kropp, 22, of Sage Avenue, Buffalo, was charged at 4:54 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to stop at a stop sign. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for allegedly not stopping at a stop sign. Kropp was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Kropp was taken into custody and issued appearance tickets to be in Hanover Court.
HANOVER – Jillian H. Kluss, 19, of Lakeview, and Haley K. Harris, 18, of Williamsville, were charged at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday with open container under 21 years old. Deputies were on patrol in Sunset Bay when two females were observed to be in possession of open alcoholic containers on Alleghany Road. Kluss and Harris were cited and will answer the charge in Hanover Court at a later date.
KIANTONE – Kevin J. Millward, 43, of Jamestown was charged at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to keep right. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling on Route 60 fail to keep right. Millward was taken into custody after it was determined he was intoxicated. He will be in Kiantone Court at a later date.

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for failing to dim highbeams to oncoming traffic. Twoguns was later found to be intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

Donald A. Baker, 54, of South Erie Street, Mayville, was charged at 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday with petit larceny. Police learned Baker attempted to leave Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue without paying for a cellphone. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Court at a later date.

FREDONIA – Donald J. McDermott, 25, of Silver Creek, was charged at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 438. Troopers said McDermott entered the roadway after passing a road closed sign with a barrier. McDermott failed sobriety tests and was taken into custody. A breath test found his blood alcohol level to be .10 percent. McDermott will be in Brant Court on July 22.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Donald W. Dean Sr. of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after a traffic stop at 43 Sampson St., on Thursday evening. Officers observed a gray Chrysler traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Newland Avenue and Sampson Street. After a stop, Dean was found to be operating the vehicle. A driver’s license check showed Dean’s to be suspended. During an inventory of Dean’s belongings while in custody, he was found to be in possession of what is believed to be cocaine. He also had several drug paraphernalia items in his possession. Dean was held in city jail pending arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Georgeanna Culpepper, 37, of Falconer was charged June 26 with second-degree harassment, third-degree assault, driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Ellicott police were dispatched to a Falconer business for an assault in progress. While en route, the female left the scene. Culpepper was later found at the intersection of Allen Street Extension and Mason Drive, and later found to be driving while intoxicated. A victim at the business said Culpepper became irate and became physical. She was arraigned in Ellicott Court and released.
Ashley M. Schwabenbauer, 23, of Florida was charged June 26 with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 60 at Palm Road for speeding. Officers could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. Schwabenbauer was found to be in possession of 25 grams of marijuana and was arraigned in Ellicott Court. She was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

COLDSPRING – Brian M. Bedell, 37, of Little Valley was charged at 5:42 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, speeding and inadequate brake lights. Bedell is due back in Coldspring Court at a later date.
COLDSPRING – Joseph H. Sluga, 67, was charged at 6:19 p.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right following a traffic stop on Lebanon Road. He was processed and released to appear in court at a later date.
ISCHUA – Derek S. Corwin, 26, of Quaker Road, Barker, was charged at 11:18 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, failure to keep right and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. McIntire, 24, of Kennedy, was charged at 1:14 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and operating without headlamps during hours of darkness. Deputies observed a vehicle on Ivory Road in the Town of Carroll, which was operating without any headlines and only one functioning parking lamp in heavy fog conditions. The vehicle was stopped, and following an investigation McIntire was taken into custody. He was later released, and was issued appearance tickets to be in Town of Carroll court at a future date.
MAYVILLE – Garth N. Blanchard, 21, of Mayville, was charged at 3:42 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated common law, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and numerous vehicle and traffic charges. Deputies attempted to stop a subject riding an ATV on Valley Street in Mayville when the subject ditched the ATV and ran from deputies. The subject was apprehended after a foot pursuit, and later identified as Blanchard. A subsequent investigation led to Blanchard being taken into custody. He was later released, and was issued appearance tickets to be in Chautauqua County court at a future date.
MAYVILLE – Douglas E. Fischer, 46, of Erie Street, was charged at 7 p.m. on Sunday with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Deputies responded with Westfield police to a disorderly person at Crosby’s market in Mayville. Police learned Fischer became aggressive and irate toward staff, allegedly flipping over a news stand and sunglasses stand and caused damage to merchandise. Fischer was taken into custody and arraigned in Chautauqua Court. He will be back in court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA – Amber Fisher, 21, of Ashville, was charged at 7:10 a.m. Sunday with failure to keep right. Deputies learned Fisher was traveling westbound on Route 394 when she allegedly fell asleep. The vehicle drifted over the center line, eventually striking a utility pole. The pole was sheared at its base, while the vehicle rolled onto its roof. Fisher received only minor injuries and was not transported. She was issued a traffic ticket.
SILVER CREEK – William L. Flowers, 52, of Grove City, Ohio, was charged at noon on Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a mobile phone. Deputies stopped a motorist for speeding on Hanover Street. Flowers was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was released with appearance tickets to be back in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

Alexcia S. Melbourne, 25, was charged at 10 p.m. Sunday with second-degree assault. Police responded to North Main Street for a report of a fight with a knife involved. An investigation found Melbourne attacked a victim with the knife, who suffered lacerations to their head and hand. Melbourne was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. She was awaiting arraignment in city court.

David D. Abbey Jr., 32, of Lincoln Street, Cattaraugus, was charged at 10:30 p.m. Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers responded to Elizabeth Avenue for a suspicious situation. Police learned Abbey was in possession of marijuana and was taken into custody. He was issued an appearance ticket to be back in court at a later date.
Jessica M. Albares, 25, of Pope Road, Randolph, was charged Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny. Albares was taken into custody on a warrant out of Busti for charges stemming from an incident at Wal-Mart on Fairmount Avenue where she allegedly stole merchandise. She was being held in Chautauqua County Jail on other charges.
Austin W. Slater, 28, of Pope Road, Randolph, was charged on Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny. Slater was taken into custody on a warrant out of Busti stemming from an incident in Wal-Mart where he allegedly stole merchandise from the store. He currently is being held in Chautauqua County Court on other charges.
Sandra L. Sherlock, 33, of Main Street, Buffalo, was charged on Monday with two counts of petit larceny and trespassing. Sherlock was taken into custody on a warrant following an incident May 15 at Wal-Mart where she allegedly stole merchandise. She was arraigned in Busti Court and sent to Chautauqua County Jail. Sherlock is due back in court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Mckenzie T. Paulson, 20, of Beech Street, Jamestown, was charged on June 26 with endangering the welfare of a child. Police responded to a situation in which a 3-year-old child was wandering the streets without supervision. Police learned Paulson was allegedly not supervising the child, who was found three blocks from the residence. Paulson was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Branden M. Busche, 25, of North Butts Avenue, Jamestown, was charged on June 22 with larceny. Police were called to a convenience store on Fairmount Avenue for a report of a possible employee theft. It was reported that at the end of the June 22 shift, the cash register was short $712.29. Police later learned Busche allegedly took the cash. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Daniel P. Hancock, 24, of Dewittville, was charged on June 25 with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers were dispatched for a criminal mischief incident in Celoron. Police learned Hancock allegedly damaged a vehicle in the parking lot not belonging to him at an apartment complex. He was issued an appearance ticket.
Stephanie Grice was charged on Sunday with running a red light. A New York state trooper was on patrol in Jamestown when he witnessed Grice go through a red light at the intersection of North Main and Fourth streets. Grice struck a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old female of Jamestown, who was transported to WCA Hospital for neck pain.
