JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Deborah M. Rowland, 46, of Jamestown was charged May 13 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 4:49 p.m., officers, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were conducting a joint search on the Southside when they observed Rowland, who was known to be wanted by the Rio Rancho Police Department in New Mexico. Rowland was placed into custody without incident, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. Pending extradition, she will be in Jamestown City Court.
– Peter S. Samuelson, 51, was charged May 13 with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal contempt, and two counts of second-degree menacing. According to police, at about 11:30 p.m., officers took a complaint for a past-tense domestic dispute. Officers learned that Samuelson allegedly menaced two victims with a knife. Samuelson was in alleged violation of an order of protection. He was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail, and will be in city court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Jonathan V. White, 57, of Gowanda, was charged May 14 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, consumption/alcohol in a motor vehicle, moved from lane unsafely, and failure to keep right. According to officials, at about 9:01 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hanover Road in the town of Hanover. The operator was identified as White, and further investigation found White to be allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was placed into custody, and will be in Hanover Town Court later.
