City discusses National Night Out plans

Plans are coming together for Jamestown’s first National Night Out event after a lengthy break from the event. The National Night Out has been an event held in years past in the city of Jamestown, and while it has been a while the city is looking to hold the event again at the beginning of August. The event was part of the special events section that came before the City Council’s Public Safety Committee this week. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Joshua B. Becker, 38, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child at 7 p.m. Wednesday after officers working a STRIVE detail responded to south side address for a reported fight with weapons.
