Plans are coming together for Jamestown’s first National Night Out event after a lengthy break from the event. The National Night Out has been an event held in years past in the city of Jamestown, and while it has been a while the city is looking to hold the event again at the beginning of August. Becker, 38, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child at 7 p.m. Wednesday after officers working a STRIVE detail responded to south side address for a reported fight with weapons.
