Westfield Academy and Central School Board of Education members learned about the progress and timeline for the work on the Capital Improvement Project at their meeting in June. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Jaclyn Anderson, 46, of Jamestown, was charged June 30 with resisting arrest, and having an outstanding arrest warrant. According to police, at about 4:18 p.m., officers observed Anderson in the area of Newland Avenue and Myrtle Street, knowing she had an outstanding Jamestown City Court warrant. When officers, police said, attempted to place her into custody, Anderson allegedly fled on foot, and after a brief pursuit, she was placed into custody without further incident.
