JAMESTOWN POLICE - Brandon M. Tingue, 39, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to a residence on the east side of Jamestown for a reported order of protection violation. Upon arrival, officers allegedly found Tingue hiding in the woods a short distance away from the victim's residence. The other person had a valid stay away order or protection against Tingue. FREDONIA - Fredonia Police Chief Gregory Myers has received permission to pursue discipline against one of his employees. The village Board of Trustees approved two resolutions Monday to set up a hearing for the employee, who is not getting named by village officials. Myers is authorized to suspend the worker without pay “upon delivery of the charges against him,” according to one of the resolutions.
