2 Airlifted Following Head-On Crash

FREWSBURG — The drivers of two vehicles involved in a head-on crash Friday afternoon were airlifted to the hospital.
The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. on Falconer Frewsburg Road in the town of Carroll.
According to the New York State Police, a southbound vehicle being operated by Frewsburg resident Melissa Crofka reportedly drifted into the oncoming lane and collided with a northbound vehicle being operated by Randolph resident Stephanie Cronk.
Both suffered multiple injuries and were taken by helicopter to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
In addition to the state police, firefighters from Frewsburg and Falconer responded along with Chautauqua County EMS and accident reconstruction crews.
