Two Charged After Search Warrant Served In Ellery Mobile Home Park

Two Ellery residents face charges after a search warrant was executed earlier this week at their residence in the High Acres Mobile Home Park in Ellery.
Brady M. Griffin, 30, of Ellery, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Ashley Karash, 39, of Ellery was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
An investigation into narcotics activity in the Town of Ellery ended with a search warrant being executed by narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department at First Street, Lot 16, in the High Acres Mobile Home Park at 11:28 a.m. Tuesday. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team made entry into the residence with Griffin and Karash found inside the residence when police entered. As a result of the search Investigators seized 332.4 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, two handguns, three long guns, a high-capacity magazine and $2,312.
