Weekly Author Series At
Hazeltine Public Library Continues
BUSTI — The weekly author series at the Hazeltine Public Library continues Monday with Adrienne Ploss at 6:30 p.m. in the community building behind the library. Ploss is best known as the owner/operator of Hickory Hurst Farms on Route 394. Her memoir ‘Go Back, You Forgot the Flowers’ weaves the history of the farm with the genealogy of her family. The author discussion is free and open to the public. The library is located at 891 Busti Sugar Grove Road, Busti. For more information, call 716-487-1281. Hall House Research Library To Be Open On Wednesday
On Wednesday the Hall House Research Library at 73 Forest Ave., Jamestown, will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. for research. There will volunteers available to help. There is no charge. For more information call 716-664-6256.

BLOCKVILLE — Watts Flats United Methodist Church, 866 Blockville-Watts Flats Road, Blockville, will be having a spaghetti dinner on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The dinner will cost $10 with all proceeds to benefit the church. The public is welcome to attend.
Falconer To Hold Special Meeting
FALCONER – The Falconer Village Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, in the Village Hall board room, 101 W. Main St., Falconer, in regard to a resolution supporting the New York Forward grant. The public is welcome to attend.
Annual Book Sale To Be Held On Oct. 5-6
SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library’s annual book sale will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 2 to 7 p.m. and Friday Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a bag sale Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. Baked goods will also be available for purchase. All proceeds from the book and baked goods sale are used for the benefit of the library to enhance collections and programs. Library board meetings are held at 6 p.m. the last Wednesday of each month except for December. Board meetings are open to the public.

Host Annual
Mausoleum Tours
The Fenton History Center will be holding its annual mausoleum tours on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 8 to 10 p.m. Learn about some of the early movers and shakers of Jamestown portrayed by local actors. Tickets are now on sale at fentonhistorycenter.org or call 716-664-6256 to purchase them.
